We likely are not going after her. Her defense is meh, she is kind of a diva and she’s going to demand to start.

Yea I dnt see Vic doing it either.

It was a great year. 35 wins. Forever to be known as “The Final Four team of 2025.” Thank you Vic and staff. Thank you ladies. Much appreciated.

Guessing Mississippi for Fulwiley, and that’s a complete guess

I’m here for Pancho to have another reason to hate Ole Miss as an athletic program and an institution

The following is from ESPN’s WCBB current transfer rankings. Get Kneepkens, and this team could really win the whole thing. Her shooting and scoring ability in all three phases sorely needed by Texas.

SCar is going to be really, really good too.

Please please please!!

She’s already been to South Carolina. I don’t see why she’d go to OU or UCLA. She ain’t gonna get shots with Chavez running the show and UCLA returns almost all their guard rotation

Texas has the dire need for her. South Carolina got Latson already, plus has Tessa and Raven Johnson

I'm cautiously optimistic about getting her, especially with all the things you point out about the other schools.

But who knows. Maybe she just wants a ring at UCLA or South Carolina.

Get her and Phelia gets healthy, cooking at that point.

Need to figure out PF. If Carlton is staying and can handle full time or do we get one from the portal?

Not sure Cori Close is the coach I would want to pin my hopes on to get a ring. SC has a plethora of guards. I can’t imagine Kneepkens being happy sitting in on the bench. Vic should open up the coffers for this one.

The do bring back Rice, Betts, Ducalic, Jacquez and bring in Baby Betts

I think they’re really only losing Jones and Barker

I’m also of the believe that Dawn “stockpiles” so others can’t have the players, even though she has no plans to use that player or knows she has someone better at that position. (See: Fulwiley)

I wouldn’t count out Souf Carolina.

I just don’t believe ou has the money after Chavez

Oh yeah, Dawn stockpiles to keep others out. Freshmen are easy to fool. You’d think a senior transfer would know she wouldn’t play much or start at South Carolina

Texas ACs are now following 6’1 PF Sidberry from BC and 6’2 PF Ziegler from St Joe’s via Denmark

Texas is actively shopping for a 4

Hopefully, she’ll read this post!

Not for nothing, but AC got dropped to #3 by HoopGurlz. Jazzy Davidson is now #1 and Baby Betts stays #2

And more importantly, your Texas Longhorn Aaliyah Crump at #5.

All three were impressive in the McD game. I can see why Davidson ascended, though. For me, her game brings to mind Fulwiley's.

She had some big games/moments for us after the Moore injury. Sad to see her go but she’s kind of the odd one out with Harmon, Booker, Lee, Phelia, Preston, Crump and maybe Kneepkins at guard and if Moore is coming back + Carlton and we are clearly targeting a forward

Sorry to see her go. But her minutes were probably going to be limited next season.

I definitely wanted her back, but she wants more minutes for her last year, I get it. I wish her well, she had some key moments for us.

Potential smoke with 6’1 junior guard Ashton Judd from Missouri. Could be why Jak is gone

So, we have a 25% chance to get her?   I know these things are hard to predict, but I need some hope.  Somebody, anybody????

Social media clues don't look promising. No recent Texas affiliated follows, but several for the other 3

Which sucks, because the one type of player Texas WB keeps missing on are elite scorers/shooters. Even worse when they go to teams we’re trying to get over the hump against (SCar) or are rivals with (OU).

-caveat being I know Judd is a good 3-point shooter (pending we land her if we don’t Kneepkens) and we’ll still have a really good team regardless. Just need to start getting one or two Chavez, Latson, Kneepkens, etc., types to round out the roster if we really want to win titles.

Yea we have to start landing some of these player types if we actually want to really be in the conversation and not just winning the season

I doubt she plays meaningful minutes there either.

It's not for lack of trying. I think Vic's style of play (defense first) is a hard sell for some players.

100% agree.

but eventually if Vic wants to land these scores he’s gonna have to open up and let them score, ya know? Even Kelvin Sampson had to open up his offense and adapt some to the new game to start landing those higher recruits. I’m not saying back off your tough hard nose defensive philosophy but your gonna have to run more than give and go then feed it to the post ever possession.

Abbie enters the portal: Vic played favorites and didn’t play a 6’9 center!

Abbie commits to Eastern Illinois: crickets

If she was some big secret bench weapon that Vic never played, why didn’t a big time school pick her up? She ain’t ever going to play.

Blair and Elena are following a 2025 recruit who was an Auburn commit - Miracle Aktoptayobo

MIRACLE AKPOTAYOBO
Position: Forward/Center
Height: 6-1
Hometown: Delta State, Nigeria/Dallas, Texas
High School: W.T. White HS
AAU: Texas U

Tex and Tenn are the 2 teams for Judd, apparently

Would seem like Tenn would have the natural advantage in terms of scheme.

Janiah Barker from UCLA to Tenn

Another potential forward. Maryland fans are sad

Judd is now following Rori and Phelia (and following her back)

So is Teya Sidberry (a PF from BC), so I wonder if they're visiting together right now.  I have mentioned Sidberry already - Coach Wisdom-Hylton has a connection to her from BC

Junior 6'1 forward

12.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 0.9 apg, 89% FT shooter.  Not a great 3 point shooter (28%), but even being a stretch 4 threat would be nice

She had a 28/10 game against FSU, a 24/6 game against Louisville, 17/13 against Arkansas

As a soph: 22/5 against Louisville, 20/10 against Clemson, 19/9 against FSU, 23/11 against Syracuse, 18/8 against NCSU, a streak of double digit scoring games in 10 of 11 ACC games, 14/8 against Ohio State

Both of the above are positive news for our prospects with Judd.

Have you watched Sidberry's film/her play live? I'm curious how she might compare to Mwenentanda. Obviously, her lines are better from those game stats you posted.

Never heard of her before I saw Coach Wisdom following her, and now Judd.

Cool. I just figured if anyone here had, it would be you.

Seems like we may be trading Kneepkens for Judd & Sidberry.
