Because it was unintentional and his arm wasn’t away from his body. In other situations that’s not a handball.

And kicking the ball should be illegal. And they should play inside on a wood floor, and score points by putting the ball through a little loop of metal suspended horizontally 10 feet off the ground.

I don't really need to argue about, refs sometimes have to make hard calls but this is the shot you are looking for...not the one where the ball still hasn't gotten to Havertz
January 18Jan 18 It kind of proves the point. While spinning around, he left his arm out to get hit. Unnatural position/not against his body.

And I don’t think it hit his arm anyway. My opinion stands.

January 25Jan 25 Michael Oliver used to be a good referee. Been living off his reputation for a number of years. brutal red card today Arsenal fans.

Been living off his reputation for a number of years. brutal red card today Arsenal fans. what’s so wild is that the wolves player who got sent off only got a yellow for a foul that was inarguably worse, particularly by the “serious foul play” definition of MLS’s straight red. just unreal that VAR exists and yet they still get it totally wrong.
January 25Jan 25 We have proof some refs have a bias vs certain teams. Oliver shouldn’t be reffing Arsenal matches any longer.

January 25Jan 25 1 minute ago, Firemans4Horn said: They’ve bought 5 in the last 2 years. None of them are worth a shit. which is insane, because i’ve been an arsenal fan since 2011 and we’ve never had a bad keeper. not even so much as a backup keeper who we didn’t all believe in until matt turner weirdly became our backup for a short time. Szczesny, Fabianski, Ospina, Cech, Emi, Ramsdale, Raya- as an Arsenal fan post-Almunia the concept of not having multiple good keepers is totally foreign to me.
January 26Jan 26 PGMOL has backed michael oliver and upheld his call on MLS which will lead to MLS missing games against man city and michael oliver’s beloved newcastle. their reasoning is the latest instance of an absolutely brand new rule that’s only just now been invented especially for arsenal, as according to the PGMOL anything above the ankle is an automatic red. right. r/gunners is currently overflowing with pictures, videos, and highlight reels of arsenal players getting spikes to the shin with either only a yellow or no call. we are witnessing corruption. it’s fucked.

January 28Jan 28 independent panel has overturned the straight red and three game suspension on MLS. took them five seconds to make their ruling. oliver made the terrible call; VAR confirmed it; PGMOL tripled down on it being the right call. and yet, as we all already knew, they were all deemed to be full of shit. i wish we could get every non-City club to threaten a boycott unless changes are made. because short of that nothing is going to happen.
