I have a friend who wants to get rid of his Cowboys PSL, and he doesn't have the time to deal with the process right now, so I'm looking into it for him.

Is the only way to sell via cowboys.strmarketplace.com or are other methods just as reliable?  For example, I see a site called PSL source.

Is there any way to see actual sales prices of other PSLs? I see a lot of listed prices that he'd be happy to get, but I'm guessing nobody is buying.

Would now typically be a good time to sell, leading into a new season?

Any advice on how to best manage the process is appreciated.

For what it's worth, the seats are great - four 200 level club seats on the 40.  Of course, the payoff amount is also pretty eye-watering.

Former Texan PSL holder here. One good sales method is to be friendly with the other PSL owners around you. They or friends of theirs might be willing to expand their ownership to adjacent seats. You might actually get a premium as they know it's a rare opportunity to buy seats that close to them.

I can't speak for other teams or even the Texans anymore, but the Texans used to manage their own marketplace and would publish all PSL sales via their marketplace. That was helpful for me to understand the market when I sold.

Better to sell now when expectations are inflated rather than ½ way through the season as reality once again settles in.

Ha. When the team loses and misses the playoffs, would be the worst time.

Seriously I think the best times are just as the season starts or going into the playoffs. I would look to sell in the For Sale board here. Or if there is a Cowboys thread in Football.

The best person to find is someone that wants to buy it for their personal err business use. Nothing like your business paying for the tickets.

Hopefully somebody is thinking of the deal they'll be getting if they buy right before a Super Bowl run

AT&T Stadium will be a pile of rubble if a buyer waits for that to happen.
