Wind River is full of hard scenes.

Curb stomp. So hard, I don't even need to name the movie.

sounded like smashing a watermelon.

so unsettling.

There's a scene in The Kingdom where Jennifer Garner stabs a terrorist in the head.

The sound is  . . . memorable.

What do we mean by 'hardest', like difficult to sit through because of the violence, difficult to sit through because of emotions, or technically complicated to film (like the Heat shootout)?

I think he just means cool.

Yo Hooch, I dug her rap.  My momma didn't raise no dummies.

To this day, I can't sit through the VM scene in "Swingers", and I've seen the movie dozens of times.

There are so many single-shot live-action takes from 90's thrillers that come to mind, before CGI took over.

Emotionally speaking---the red jacket girl in Schindler's list, the ending scene with the self-bargaining scene between Kinglsey and Neason.  The terminal hospital scenes in Million Dollar Baby, and now at this stage in my life any time a daughter has to watch her father die.

Scene in 1984 when rat in cage was strapped onto John Hurt’s face that if opened would eat his eyes out..

Saving Private Ryan when Corporal Upham cowers in fear while the German knifes Mellish. Then, Upham lets him walk past him.

Hard scene to watch.

Oh, I thought it was most technically difficult.  The two super extended tracking shots in Children of Men are my choice.

True story about some mountaineering turned into a documentary, Touching the Void, where Simon has to ....

Spoiler

cut the belay rope and let Joe fall.  He had no idea where Joe was or how far he'd fall.  Incredible feeling of guilt I'm certain.

This movie is intense as hell.

What gets me is the sound of the teeth scraping the concrete.

I hate you.

That one scene in Bone Tomahawk or as I mentioned in another thread - the reveal at the end of Hunter Hunter. Holy f’n shit.

Hard scene to watch.

I wanted to shoot Upham more than the German.

Marathon Man when Hoffman gets his teeth drilled.

When a puppet show has a friggen' trigger warning, you got yourself a hard scene:

Hey. Thanks for this reminder. Dick.

Two very famous scenes pair well together.

Anton Chigur tells Woody Harrelson “you should admit your situation.  There would be more dignity in it.”

and in True Romance, Dennis Hopper does admit his situation and there in fact is more dignity in it.

You are a man devoid of a soul if you don't get choked up:

Forgot about this movie. Damn.
