I caught some of the Olympics competition, not just the embarassing Aussie intersectional gender studies woman, and it was low quality. Like when USA basketball sent college players instead of the Dream Team. I agree. I was a big fan of the show "So you Think You Can Dance" and loved all of the urban, Hip-Hop styles. This was, uh, not that. The few women I saw yesterday wouldn't have made the first cut. 9 minutes ago, MNLonghornFUKM said: Live on nbc now. So the guys are pretty good OK. I'm going in. We'll see.

August 11, 20241 yr I think a lot of it looks cool as shit and is a remarkable display of dexterity and agility. But I also don't think it belongs within a mile of the Olympics. (I would say that of many, many other events, however.)

Sure, I've see the video, but your cames of amazing memes are unfounded with supporting evidence. In other words, pics or it didn't happen, please. And for the record, I think a more appropriate headline for that last pics is, "She did the mash, the monster mash!" Edited August 14, 20241 yr by BurntEyes

September 10, 20241 yr At last, Raygun is No.1. Quote Australian breakdancer Rachael Gunn, known as B-Girl Raygun, failed to score a single point at the Paris Olympics with her viral performances, but she's the one laughing now. November 7, 20241 yr RIP, Raygun era. Quote Breakdancer Rachael "Raygun" Gunn's signature kangaroo bounce will not be seen on a competitive stage again after the Australian declared she could not bring herself to battle following the backlash over her Paris Olympic performance. Gunn, a university lecturer, became an overnight sensation after losing all three of her round-robin battles by a combined score of 54-0 when breaking made its Olympic debut at the Place de la Concorde. The 37-year-old was mocked online and in the mainstream media for everything from her moves to her green official team uniform. Gunn told Sydney radio she was still breaking but not competing. "I'm not going to compete anymore, no," Gunn told 2DayFM. "I was going to keep competing, for sure, but that seems really difficult for me to do now to approach a battle. Yeah, I mean I still dance, and I still break. But, you know, that's like in my living room with my partner. It's been really upsetting. I just didn't have any control over how people saw me or who I was." Breaking was dropped from the Olympic program for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. An online petition that accused Gunn of manipulating the qualification procedure to earn her Paris spot attracted 50,000 signatures before it was removed at the request of the Australian Olympic Committee. The AOC also refuted a claim that Gunn's husband, Samuel Free, who is also her coach, was involved in her selection. "The conspiracy theories were totally wild," Gunn said. "But I just try and stay on the positives and that's what gets me through. "The people that have like [said], 'You have inspired me to go out there and do something that I've been too shy to do. You've brought joy, you've brought laughter. You know, we're so proud of you.'"
