Just watched the first episode. Really enjoyed it. Though emotionally, which is what makes it good. 

Read the book but haven’t made it to the series yet.  The book was good but not great, mainly because I think it played too close to the “historical” than the “fiction” of “historical fiction”.  Because it sought to track a family’s true story, which is a great one, it left a reader expecting more of a satisfying ending (which I won’t spoil).  Anyways, looking forward to the tv adaptation 

I loved this show. Was a hard watch some weeks but really well done. Incredible story

Finished this tonight. So good. Hard to watch at times, but well worth it.

Not sure how the book ends, but the series ending is very satisfying.
