A second consecutive league title would be historic

Texas hasn’t won outright consecutive league titles since the Horns left with a Southwest Conference title under John Mackovic in 1995 then debuted with a Big 12 title win over Nebraska in 1996. Before that, the legendary Darrell Royal led the program to a SWC three-peat from 1961 to 1963, including the school’s first national championship in 1963 then followed with six straight league titles from 1968 to 1973 with another natty in 1969.

come on Cedric... don't say "natty" 😋

Any ETA for the Kentucky game? The wife bought us tickets but she is ruining it by stressing me out over the start time.

Here is an incredible stat: the Texas defense has more Interceptions than TDs allowed

Texas has 18 interceptions against 13 TD's allowed.

Next best is Ohio State with 9 ints to 13 TDs allowed.

Of those 13 TD's that Texas has allowed, only four were passing TDs, so Texas has 18 ints to 4 passing TDs, a ratio of 4.5 to one.

I remember games against the Sooners when our defense gave up more than four passing TDs in one game.

Georgia's defense, conversely, has given up 26 TDs --- twice as many as has Texas.

I'm thinking that, in the modern era, those kinds of numbers/ratios might be historically good.
