Well, of course. I get the sentiment but his case was basically thrown out. Where as Watson had to pay up.

I think one complication with imessages is that they are stored in your Apple account in addition to locally on the phone and transiently at the provider. At least unless you opt out of apple account storage. Texts can also be backed up in a Google account. I disremember the defaults there. Edited August 17Aug 17 by TwiceHorn

August 18Aug 18 Anyone know what draft pick that contract would closely equate to? Third round? Late second?

Drafted players generally get 4 year contracts. They definitely didn't have to fully guarantee all 3 years but it is the Browns.

The Cowboys did something similar with La'el Collins when he went undrafted due to legal issues. UDFAs don't make a million per year. Not sure what round that would equate to with the wage scale.

Yes - they do. Rookie minimum is $840k this season and over $1M for 2027. It is in line with what guys at the bottom of the draft sign for.
August 18Aug 18 Isaiah Bond is a sobering reminder that men often have a self-destruct gene that emerges at the worst possible moment. He's a very nice person and I hope he can learn to be more careful moving forward and not to place himself in compromising positions. I'm not passing judgement on his actions either way, cause I don't know what happened, but he has a fresh chance. Here's hoping for the best for him.

It’s more likely she nor the prosecutor had any evidence and that’s why it was billed. This scenario leads more to she fabricated details especially considering his immediate defamation suit.

As we know or should know, when a complaining witness refuses to testify to the grand jury or at trial, because they lied initially or some other reason (bought off), prosecutors have to no-bill. Beard out front should have told ya.

August 20Aug 20 Can we please meld the Isaiah Bond and Johntay Cook thread into one thread? It can be titled The Comeback Kids: Isaiah Bond and Johntay Cook.
