It deserves the benefit of the doubt. I was skeptical about the series at first but you’ve got to admit each season has been good or great thus far

This hits close to home because Donny Most sat behind my brothers and me at an Angels game in the early 80’s.  Game was in Anaheim and he was a Yankees fan.

we kept turning around and asking opinions about the game.  “Hey Ralph, what do you think about x?”  “It’s Donny.”  “Hey Ralph, what about y?”  “It’s Donny.”  We were relentless.

He left about the 5th.

2019 or 2020.

Chris Rock.

Not even set in Minnesota.

Huge time jump back to the 50s

Will be interesting to see how they tie it in...because that sounds like a completely different tv show.

Not really, just a different part of the story. Kansas City has always been a big player. We just don't know too much about them.

I caught the teaser trailer earlier today... Can't get here soon enough.

Here's the only video I could find (please let me know if someone find a better one) :

Wasn't season 3 kind of sucky? I really don't remember. I remember thinking season 1 was great, season 2 was phenomenal, and 3 was a big letdown, but I can't even remember it.

And don't get me wrong, I love me some Pookie and Chris Rock, but he's a really shitty actor.

S3 was different, but I wouldn't say it sucked.

Season 2 was great until they introduced aliens out of nowhere just for shits and giggles.

I don't remember one single thing about Season 3 except that fat Kirsten Dunst and Landry were married.

season 3 was a super slow burn but excellent.

Season 3 was a bit of a letdown from Season 2, and it got better near the end. And the, "I can help!" episode was oddly sad.

Ms. Dunst was in Season 2 and I agree the alien thing brought nothing of benefit.

I stand corrected: I remember literally nothing about Season 3.

Guess I'll need to watch them again before season 4. I forgot all about the alien thing. I believe I thought it was dumb, but also remember thinking season 2 was excellent.

I'm more concerned about Jason Schwartzman than Chris Rock or the setting. Schwartzman has serious comedic chops, but he's the most Wes Anderson of all of the Wes Anderson characters.

The alien thing is/was a knuckleball. You had no fucking idea where it was going.

Fat Kirsten Dunst?

I’m in for this.  Season 3 was the brothers and the Corvette and the stamp, correct?

Season 3 was choppy but there were plenty of gems.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was great as was David Thewlis.

Season 2 was great as well. I think someone around here explained that the UFO story was actually contemporaneous with the setting. Dismissing Dunst as fat is just ignorance.

This was a rough scene:

Brutal. I'd forgotten or likely blocked it out.

Right down there with Patricia Arquette taking a beating from Tony Soprano in True Romance

True, she's also snaggletoothed.  That should be mentioned before her fatness.

Season 3 was the worst season by far because no character is likeable except for Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She gets naked, and is a bold strong character. Even then, you wonder why she’s with some bald, fat, ugly loser. They could have constructed an entire episode around Kennan Thompson and the SNL cast trying to determine why she’s with him.

Almost as good as season 1.

Might be able to convince my wife to watch season 4, knowing that Olyphant is a featured character.

Yeah I was going to watch anyway but I’m definitely in now that I know Olyphant is starring.

The things I’d do to that man.

I look just like him.

im so erect.  that looks incredible.

I love how they drop lines form different Coen movies.  Looks great.

I love the Coen easter eggs that are always in these scripts, like the line from Raising Arizona in that promo.

Girl, you got a panty on your head.

"I'm goin' to slow pump some babies into your daughter one at a time and twice on Sunday's".    Did I hear that correctly? The Coen brothers are national treasures.
