The variance in skill in CFB is part of the charm, IMO. The truly elite athletes--like Lamar Jackson--running literal circles around some poor 19 year old kid.

But, every time you tune into an NFL game, there's a damn good chance you're getting a one score game with 5 minutes left between two, at worst, above average quarterbacks. Hard to beat that.
