September 7, 20241 yr Myron Charles - Hudl Myron Charles - Port Charlotte - DL _ 247sports.com Spoiler Scouting Report Evaluated 05/11/2024 Andrew Ivins Director of Scouting Interior defender that combines promising size with encouraging athleticism. Displays adequate knee bend and hip flexibility to go along with above average body quickness. Has worked out of a variety of different alignments at the prep level and could fit into an odd or even front at the collegiate level. Pretty raw from a technical standpoint, but has strung together dominant stretches of play against subpar competition, winning with his length and mass. Measured just over 6-foot-4, 295 pounds spring before junior season, but is likely going to need a few semesters to reshape the body and find a motor. Should be viewed as a developmental lineman that has a chance to emerge as an impact player at the Power Four level with plenty of seasoning. Must embrace the grind, but has the traits that many covet in an era where a premium is being placed on athletic defensive tackles and nose guards. H.S. Athletic Background 2023: Finished junior season with 29 tackles (9.5 TFL), 8 QBH, 1.5 sacks and 2 PBU per MaxPreps. Helped Port Charlotte made regional semifinals of Florida’s 3S playoffs. 2022: Herald-Tribune All-Area selection. Totaled 33 tackles (7 TFL), 4 sacks, 3 FF, a FR and a PBU. -Andrew Ivins
