August 6, 20187 yr Marky Mark in anything other than Fear. He’s fine in The Nice Guys, the Departed, and a few other things.
August 6, 20187 yr He’s fine in The Nice Guys, the Departed, and a few other things. Maybe you’re one of the Other Guys?
August 6, 20187 yr He’s fine in The Nice Guys, the Departed, and a few other things. Three Kings is awesome. Marky has his place. He’s a good supporting actor but shouldn’t be asked to carry a film.
August 6, 20187 yr How about Samuel L Jackson in whatever shitty Star Wars movie he was in. Gotdamn he didnt fit in that movie

Did you know that the guy who played Unpainted Arizona/Huffines ("I don't know, Yodas and shit!") was slated to play the Albert Finney character in Miller's Crossing?

He’s been in a lot of pure crap, but also has starred in two of the best sports movies ever (Bull Durham and Field of Dreams), the greatest Texas movie of all time (Fandango), an underrated D.C. thriller (No Way Out), and a fantastic but admittedly self-indulgent Western epic (Dances With Wolves). Shit, I even loved that sappy as fuck For The Love Of The Game. I’ll always give him a pass for Robin Hood. I'd say For the Love of the Game is also a great sports movie.

August 6, 20187 yr Marky Mark in anything other than Fear. You I think every Wahlberg role except one are all tied for the #1 worst casting decision of all time?

August 6, 20187 yr Barbra Streisand in The Way We Were. No way the apolitical Robert Redford character falls for an unattractive communist in post-WWII America. She can sing though.

August 6, 20187 yr Some of you aren't kidding about not liking Marky Mark. My wife and kids will call me to come in and see any scene if he shows up. "Dad, the fight scene in Ted is about to start!"

August 7, 20187 yr Bruce Dern as Tom Buchanan. Dern is tall and lanky. Buchanan is described as a hulking brute of a man which is not tall and lanky.
August 7, 20187 yr Joaquin Phoenix as Commodus. I could watch Gladiator forever but fast forward every scene Joaquin is in and not care or maybe he played the villain so well I hated him. I’m not sure. Edited August 7, 20187 yr by kingkoopa6 Or maybe...

August 7, 20187 yr Joaquin Phoenix as Commodus. I could watch Gladiator forever but fast forward every scene Joaquin is in and not care or maybe he played the villain so well I hated him. I’m not sure. Maybe the greatest villain in cinema history, earning him an oscar nom. Weak, childish-dude kills his father and wants to sleep with his sister. Threatens her son, a possible heir to the throne. He stabs people in the back and has hissy fits. Disables Maximus in their duel by stabbing him in the liver. This is a perfect villain with almost no redeemable qualities, even according to his father. Joaquin plays this evil bitch perfectly.
August 7, 20187 yr Rawls as the Borgia Pope This is spot on, he was terrible and pissed me off because I love that genre and want d it to be good. Surrounded by pretty good British actors and this American stiff in the main role...
