Something that is underrated right now. Mike's call to have the runner steal second during the intentional walk. It would've been easy to just leave her at first...Reese is being walked anyway, what's

Down the line camera angle was conclusive, wish we had that angle yesterday.

What I was just thinking. Rather convenient.

Bad challenge 1st base coach should have seen that the path was clear and told Mike.

I think it was an F U from White

Mac starting is retarded. Period. It may work out if we can get into Canady but you roll with the girl with 0ER in the WCWS and multiple shutouts. Giving up a single run can be fatal and giving Tech even a couple of runs by not using Kavan is crazy.

I fear it wouldn't have helped much.  By the literal rule, her foot was slightly in front of the bag.  That chick played it within the rule perfectly.  Props.

How does Mia just manage to do that

I'm guessing but we've probably already got more hits in the first inning than we had in a few innings last night.

Didn't get anywhere with them though.

Much better contact to start game 2

Shutdown inning, Mac!

We are making good contacts. Nija doesn't look as formidable today.

Yep and that line foul by Maloney was solid contact too

I am sure they thought that about Kavan after inning 1 yesterday.

As this one unfolds, watch what Canady does in high-stress situations. Down to one strike needed to close out OU, she gave up a tying 2-run HR to a #9 hitter with only two on the year. After being rattled by Hunter's foul bomb last night, she got in trouble and then failed to execute against Atwood. And as we know, she hit into a key DP in the first. So there might be a favorable trend here. Of course, we have to get her into stressful situations to start with.

If we don’t get her first time through, we will get her second time

but Stewie is gonna park one next inning

Mia's hit looked like that old man in slow pitch who can purposefully dump it between the infielder and outfielder 90% of the time

someone will have to explain to me why kavan isn’t starting. i don’t get it.

Rumor is you order a 5 gallon bucket of butter today.  Coincidence?
