Something that is underrated right now. Mike's call to have the runner steal second during the intentional walk. It would've been easy to just leave her at first...Reese is being walked anyway, what's

TK gets out of her own jam! 2-0 Texas after 4

What a blown opportunity for us in the top of the 4th.  hitting popups on balls down in the zone with runners at 2nd and 3rd with no outs is beyond moronic.

We need LSU to drop 1 today to stay tied in the standings. Doesn’t matter that much bc we host them in Austin. But everything helps

7-0 Texas. Looking to close it out strong here

If Cam can prevent TK from needing to come back in, it’s a win

Not doing well

2 straight hits….Cam started the same way against SFA last week…she needs to settle down.

I would have put in Cit, if it was my decision

And now Cit comes in with bases loaded and no outs

Cocks up 5-3 on Gators, top 8

Bases loaded, 1 out for Cocks still

That was funny lol

Cam ain't it, unfortunately.  I noticed that in the fall games.  She leaves too much meat over the plate that even average teams can hammer.  Then she misses, leading to walks.

7-1 after a sac fly

7-2 after another sac fly. Cit getting the outs at least

Not that it matters, but we could have had several more shutouts without such lackadaisical relief work. Might as well throw Sophie out there for at least a batter.

Texas wins 7-2 and their second SEC road series (2-1)

No midweek, we play next weekend at Mizzou

LSU drops game 2 to the Cocks, 5-3

Texas and LSU remain tied in the loss column with 2 SEC losses - LSU plays a game 3 against South Carolina later today

7-2 Texas

6-2 LSU

9-3 OU

6-3 MSST

6-3 Florida

6-3 aggy

Every game is going to matter

What was the deal with the teal accessories?

Just no dominant team this year. Texas did enough this weekend to stay #1, with LSU dropping 1 (so far) and OU dropping 2

Probably will be:

Texas, LSU, Florida, Aggy, OU

Ovarian cancer awareness for a MSST player who died. SEC has been doing it since 2019

Ovarian cancer awareness- specifically one of their former players.

Mitchell can get overlooked sometimes, but she continues to come up huge no matter whoever else is hitting or not. That HR and fantastic bunt for a single were impressive.

Missouri is 18-17 (1-6) with that one SEC win being OU, lol

Texas better walk out of there with a sweep

South Carolina swept LSU today

Texas has first place all to ourselves and face a bad Mizzou team after having the school week off

Top 5 should be Texas, Florida, aggy, OU, LSU. Maybe Tenn sneaks in ahead of LSU

#5 in D1 Softball RPI

We won 2/3 from #1 Florida at Florida
We play #4 LSU at home
We play #9 OU on the road
We swept #10 Auburn at home
We won against #11 Arizona on the road
We play #13 Tennessee at home
We have a loss to #15 Stanford at a neutral site
We play #19 OKST in a midweek on the road
We took 2/3 from #20 MSST on the road
We took 2 from #22 Tech at home
We won a game versus #24 Ohio State on the road

Texas is 11-3 against the top 25 in RPI, with 10 more games to play.  Of those 11 top 25 wins, only 5 are at home (Auburn + Tech).
Of those 10 remaining top 25 RPI games, 4 are on the road (OKST + OU) and 6 at home (LSU/Tenn)

Mizzou is #31, despite their 18-18 record, and will be 3 road contests

Our remaining contests that are not top 25:

Mizzou #31
TXST #43
Kentucky #30

So we finish our regular season with our easiest contest being a midweek versus TXST
