Something that is underrated right now. Mike's call to have the runner steal second during the intentional walk. It would've been easy to just leave her at first...Reese is being walked anyway, what's

Letdown periods over the course of a season are inevitable in softball and baseball.  Great teams like some of the OU juggernauts have them too; they just find ways to scratch out wins while playing like shit.

We're in the middle of a stretch like that, but it should have us trending upward right in time for the postseason.  It's all about timing and getting hot at the right time.

God damn pitcher whisperer.

settled Landry down

What a comeback.

Still can't understand how we are swinging at a ball in the other box in a 2-1 count.

helluva battle by the lineup.  would be nice to take a lead and put some real pressure on OU.

I came here to post the same thing.

Nothing would help our offense more than to have Maloney, Henry and Stewie go on a face-melting run. Your mainstays have to play to their talent level every day. As for pitching, Salmon has really shown something so far today.

Speaking of Henry, what did Singleton do to her? 9 HR last year, 2 so far this year

how fast does salmon throw?

She's a regular Warren Spawn.

announcer is correct on TK.  she doesn't have good enough control to have her offspeed be only 7 or 8 MPH slower.  if it is going to be that close you have to have to hit the corners.

This is gonna be a tough roe to hoe for her

Make her work Maloney, make her work!

this ump is awful

I think we say this every game.

that is not a strike holy shit.  we weren't getting that call at all.  fuck OU.

Must have got the call to hurry this game up

Really weak third strike to Maloney...who unfortunately continues to channel her inner Lauren Burke.

slap hitters get that called against them IMO in part because the ump sees the batter running away from the ball and also loses the relationship to the knees.

this ump is giving OU 6 inches off the plate but not us.  all game.

He missed 3 or 4 strike out pitches for Kavan and then calls that shit?

Over time, this eats on a pitcher…bet Gasso and this guy have picnics in the park during the week.

trouble brewing

Their slow RH batter lays down a perfect bunt. Our CF, who runs like the wind and is a lefty, doesn't even seriously try to bunt her way on. I don't get it. She's helping the opposition more than us.

Did OU play aggy or Tenn?

They lost 1-2 to Tenn. Aggy missed both us and OU somehow

It should be an out for slamming the bat into the ground…just should.  Poor sportsmanship.

Teams should be allowed to retaliate without incurring anything but a warning. Intentionally hitting next batter. Beaning the player that just drew the BB as they walk to first or have our biggest bench player plow into them…

it is comical at this point.  there is no outside corner for us.

the whole thing is ridiculous, cheesy, and stupid but sooner...  The NCAA needed to step in last year.
