"Of Fatboys and Frauds" -aggy vs Florida game thread

That ref should be fired.  It was that bad.

I thought we left pathetic refs in the Big 12

this game just killed football.   ejected for targeting a dude's butt.

Diddy plays football?

They didn’t have any at kickoff.

I mean seriously, they were already missing like 6 or 7 DBs and now one ejected for targeting.

They can't have many more options.

Florida is the softest team I have seen in a long ass time at the point of attack. They routinely give up at least 3 yards when there is a scrum

I thought yall were fucking outside your minds thinking it was just a big 12 thing. I’ve seen plenty of shitty sec reffed games.

You’d think they’d try to let stuff go to get finished with this bullshit.

I guess this means Weigman can proceed on his quest to become towlie uninhibited by that pesky QB1 label.

Lots of longhorn fans only watch Texas play, and are unaware that Big 12 refs were just par for the course in CFB.

You guys are forgetting the “crown of the helmet” part of the rule.  Letter of the law it was targeting.  Rule is to protect defenders too.

Show me one other game outside the Big 12 that was as badly reffed as the 2015 OSU game.

The entire 'targeting' penalty needs to be done away with.

He should crane his neck backwards to keep the crown of his helmet out of the guy’s ass?

The rule is fine. Enforcement of it is the worst

Throw a flag. Fine. I hate that players get kicked out and then are suspended for a half the following week. That’s dumb.

With the way this is going they are safe to bring out the pimp cane.

All these targeting calls are really helping all the offensive and defensive linemen and LBs that are the ones that seem to be most likely to develop CTE.

It's Kabuki Theater

This is actually not such a bad outcome. Florida couldn't beat Surly, but aggy now thinks they've righted the ship. So their rollercoaster starts another slow, brief uphill climb before the inevitable resumption of plummeting.

I've watched shit tons of CFB over my life and, though I agree that CFB refs are all pretty bad, Big XII refs were... something else, including games that didn't involve us

This will be touted as Elko's "signature win" to recruits 🙄

These fucking refs need to go officiate the Pillsbury Bake Off.  This rule is ruining the game.

Presumably someone has packed all napier’s shit and is firing him at halftime right?

We are going to skull fuck both these teams.

They should at least amend the rule for the crown of the helmet doesn't matter if it's below the waist.

There's zero danger to the WR in those instances.

Plus, look of good ND is after recovering from the physical beating the Aggies laid on them.

We’ve tried telling this board how bad SEC refs are but it doesn’t get through.

Billy Napier getting fired tonight

yeah, he's done.

You can't lose to a mediocre team like this at home against a 2nd string QB. I would be shocked if Napier is employed tomorrow.

Luckily the recruits know that’s bullshit

gata has 50 total yards and 50 yards in penalties

I thought the personal foul on the aggy o lineman should have been reviewed for targeting

Are these the same refs that did Alabama at Texas game because the egregious level is the same?

They just saved future receivers from a nasty thigh bruise.

He's talking about the yell leaders. They are his wheelhouse.

You left Willis Texas for Florida to get beat down by Aggie. IDK

Oregon is winning, though.
