Not a single questionable call against Georgia. Only called one hold late in the game when they were in field goal range already. Ignored blatant DPI 3X in the endzone, and one on the early interception. And then they just started with the pre-snap bullshit to negate turnovers. Ignored late hits and roughing the QB. Tried to get a player thrown out for tackling. Multiple times I saw hands to the face by them ignored, even on the TV replay going into a time out, they had one shown in slow motion. It was fucking ridiculous. There was no fucking way Texas were going to be allowed to win that game.

The receiver never had a chance to catch the ball. Just seems like an unfair final outcome based on what happened during the play. Does college have the uncatchable ball negates PI rule and could/should it be used in a situation like this?
December 8, 20241 yr Popular Post I'm so fucking mad today. Yes, we made mistakes (Quinn and Strawberry Shortcake, esp), and yes, we could've won anyway. But the total yardage at halftime was something like 260 to 54 and I believe each team had 1 turnover at that point. But the penalty yardage was 80-19. They kept Georgia in that game, because they were told to by the league office, and I hate conspiracy theories in general. And the booth watched it happen and pretended they didn't see it. You know you fucking saw it, Kirk, you gutless prick. I was sitting there at halftime fuming, because we all knew Georgia would play better in the second half. We needed to be up 17-3 instead of 6-3, and we played well enough to have that lead, but we were not allowed to. Fuck you, SEC.

It was multiple levels worse than the roughing they called on us. Then there were the twin shoulder tug DPI's -- flag on Texas and not on them. Three holds in the first half on Texas, and zero on them. And IIRC we also had multiple holds the first time against Georgia. How come this OL, considered by some to be the best in the country, wets itself every time it sees Georgia's D line with SEC refs, but they didn't wet themselves against Michigan's very good D line, or OU's? My personal favorite was the play that ended up with our guy getting lit up out of bounds with no flag, but there were two flags on us. Three fouls on one play, and you see the two on Texas but not the blatantly obvious one on Georgia. Like, guys, you could've thrown that one just to make it less obvious that you're in the fucking bag, since it would've been offset anyway -- use your brains.

Drive: Clem TD Clemson ball, 3-11 on their 35, incomplete pass, roughing the passer. Drive: Clem TD Personal found after an SMU punt. Moved drive from Clem 41 to SMU 44. Drive: Clem FG SMU Ball: 1-10 at Clem 35. Ineligible downfield pass. Drive: SMU Punt SMU ball; 2-4 at Clem 20 False start; Then holding on 3-9 at Clem 24. Drive: SMU FG. 5&6 on same drive. Each penalty materially improved Clemson's situation. I did not watch the entire game nor really analyze the legitimacy of the penalties. Clemson averages around 5 penalties per game for around 46 yards. However, zero is quite amazing.

December 8, 20241 yr The part that bothers me the most is the media narrative that always ignores fuckery. Nobody said shit about the Okie St game and they won’t mention this game. They will only mention bottle throwing about the first GA game. The announcers, in game, see what we see but won’t say shit about it. They may say “Georgia got away with one there” or “the officials are struggling a little” and they may even mention the disparity in number of penalties, but they will never question the legitimacy of the disparity. And because of this, fuckery is consequence free.

The DPI is very fast so that is and excusable miss. The holding on Helm is not.

December 8, 20241 yr Here's the deal. Folks fucking hate Texas. And when you go to your kids sports games there are officials from the time they are 8 years old onward refereeing games. You know who are not a big part of that referee pool? Longhorns. Hardly any, from my life experience. And they tend to often have a negative view of Texas (envy, hatred, desire to harm) and it bleeds into their view of the game. Did we get fucked on calls for the most part? Absofuckinglutely! But that's the norm, not the exception. We will always have more questionable calls go against us, than for us. AND THAT IS NEVER GOING TO FUCKING CHANGE! And for Texas to win championships we have to not only win on the field but overcome, the shit calls we KNOW are gonna come our way. Again, and again, and again. But you have to overcome! To win at Texas you can't shoot your own self in the foot. Too many convict dressed folks already doing that. You just have to bear down, and overcome. No other choice.
December 8, 20241 yr Smart never calls any plays or anything. 90% of the game is spent working calls from the refs while charging onto the field like a gaping vagina, just like Carroll used to do. We might want to try that. We we should be in the ear of every ref on the field bitching about missed holds, lining up in the neutral zone, DPI, OPI. All fucking game long. It is a coaching failure not to. Georgia never had to deal with a hold bringing back a big play once. We had a huge play to about the 15 I think with Blue that also had a facemask but of course a bullshit hold was called and that was that. SEC tried to fuck us in the aggy game too but the booth fixed the fuckery. there is no booth to fix BS holding and DPI calls(or non calls).

You just have to bear down, and overcome. No other choice. This is all true, to a certain extent. But I think the bigger issue at work here is the conference protecting its brand. Conferences always shaded things a little if it meant keeping a team undefeated to make sure they got into the old 4-team playoff or BCS championship game. And if we're honest, we benefitted from that in the Big 12 once or twice (not as frequently as ou). Now it seems like conferences will try to make sure they get 3 or even 4 teams into the expanded playoff (I haven't forgotten the 5 bad calls in the first half of the aggy game, when their only way in was to upset us and then win the CCG). In the case of the CCG, it's as simple as this: the SEC-is-the-best-conference mystique takes a hit if Texas shows up and wins it immediately, especially given that we're only in year 2 of a return to national relevance. So, they made a business decision to fuck us. And, to your point above, everybody hates Texas anyway, so no one will mind that we're gonna violate them repeatedly. They probably won't even be able to see it, and if Texas fans say anything they'll be written off as homers, no matter how many black-and-white examples they can list. So, in conclusion, again, fuck the SEC. We'll be the ones they're protecting probably as soon as next year. But I'd rather just have straight games. Edited December 8, 20241 yr by TexArcher

The same conference that had teams like Bama, UGA, and Florida that rarely played Texas before the conference expansion and realignments craze began 30 years ago. The SEC was a closed club to them and they lived in their echo chamber for years getting their teams in the premier bowl games without having to play challenging non conference opponents. I think they were OK with aggy joining the club because culturally they kind of fit in with them. I don’t think they’ve ever considered MIzzou a compliment to the their conference just like they still felt like they should’ve been a Big 10 school when they were in the Rig 12. And the reaction to Texas and OU joining to club was kind of lukewarm at best. This all translates to the some of the fuckery we’ve seen with Refs. I’d bet you could pull the places of birth and current residences of the Ref crews the SEC utilizes and they are going to be heavy with Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama (not the schools but the states) connections. They are from generations for families who lived SEC football and they resent the new boys in town. Especially the one who has the resources both in money and a natural recruiting base to be top tier from day one and for the balance of the life of the SEC for how many more years it lives as a conference from this point forward.
