We've seen the videos of 2015 Okie State game over and over and the fact OU and aggy friendly media called it out confirms it. The Head Ref ended up in the fricken NFL where I bet my bottom dollar (no pun intended), you have some Refs, players, coaches and others in the NFL nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs seeing what is going on in the NBA with their unfolding gambling scandal. But what was even more criminal was the 2022 game. Penalties - Yds. 0-0 14-119 How does this happen in the modern game? How does this happen with a team that ran an offense under Gundy that slung the ball around? I really wish this would've received more attention when it occurred. But getting the forever scoreboard against these guys and Tech on the way out of the Rig 12 was good parting gift. I hope we never play either one again save the Playoffs. RecSpecs Scott Campbell, of 2022 Alabama replay game infamy, also got pulled up to the NFL. It's as if doing a special favor for the Godfather gets you a promotion to Boss. And I'm not making a joke. What else could it be? There's no way in hell someone with even remedial football knowledge could come up with that result after watching that play. Whoever was on the other end of that conversation had to have said " I don't care what you saw, this is what you're going to say..."
October 24Oct 24 Campbell seems to be suited best to continue the Smedium/Jacked legacy left by Hochuli. Those goofy glasses are a big turnoff, though.

October 24Oct 24 I do wonder what will happen to Kevin Mar. he was all over the place fucking shit up our last couple of years in the R1G, but it seems like even they’re trying to stifle him because he’s so awful. Of course I only watch a limited amount of R1G football.
October 24Oct 24 Utah coach wasted his ass on the sideline for being bad in the Pac if I recall correctly.
October 24Oct 24 Rumors around Atlanta that the fired refs and the basketball gambling bust are perhaps loosely related.

October 24Oct 24 Good lord. Money is always going to trump crooked refs. Money will even trump national championships when it comes to recruiting as much as I hate to say it. Exhibit A: Oregon. You serious? I laid out the impact of various factors including crooked refs and coaches. Crooked refs directly cost us money each year and indirectly cost us championships, prestige, and mo money and leverage. Wandering the wilderness from 2010-2022 cost UT Athletics hundreds of millions than they already made being mediocre. What would happen to our finances if Brian Orakpo and Sergio Kindle were allowed to destroy QBs then use Chase Daniels as a ragdoll in the big12 title game? Then, having a deeper and more confident team heading into the MNC against Tebow. Muschamp would have curb-stomped them.A better decade would have given Texas much more leverage. Nevertheless, politics is probably the most important factor, but dont want to CR this thing up.

Quote The Southeastern Conference has suspended longtime referee Ken Williamson for the remainder of the season in the wake of his crew's performance in Georgia's 20-10victory at Auburn on Oct. 11, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday. Williamson, who was the crew chief in that game, told SEC officials prior to the opening game that he was going to retire after this season, sources said. The SEC declined to comment Thursday. "The SEC does not comment on personnel matters," a league spokesperson said. snip Williamson's suspension was first reported by Yellowhammer News.
October 24Oct 24 Since Herbie is talking about it, it might be true. But I do have to admit, his take on refs is shit. My view on refs is they should be in the background and not part of the game. When they interject themselves every chance they get and make blown calls left and right, they absolutely need to be questioned on it, especially when there's clear bias (see OSU games in 2015 and 2022).
October 24Oct 24 I mean, the text read "permanent suspension from SEC Conference games". I'm sure Yormark has an offer letter drawn up already.

October 25Oct 25 Missed DPI on Wingo in the end zone make up call on the field goal they give us a first down for cut block on defense lol
October 25Oct 25 They don’t blow the whistle on forward progress, there’s video of him up and putting the ball in the zone they review and can’t get it right
October 25Oct 25 Im pretty sure we’ve benefitted from more PI calls in this game as we did some years in the Big 12 - see Tom Herman quote that the receivers werent doing enough ti draw calls

We don’t wanna go back to the big12 where every hit is illegalIm not a big fan of finishing helmet hits, falling downwards at someones head, especially in college where the ground ends the play. Cheap, but probably legal shot
October 26Oct 26 That hit on arch was not targeting. He hit him in the upper back area and unfortunately that momentum caused his head to whip back a bit then slam forward into the ground. Just bad luck that it hit like it did and as hard as his head hit the ground.

Cheap, but probably legal shot My initial reaction as well especially with player safety as big as it allegedly is. But, then I thought he figured he could try and force a fumble with a legal hit before arch was down, and it became a football play and less a dangerous play to me. Still might be dangerous but we can’t legislate all of the danger out of football unless we go to flags.
October 26Oct 26 I watched the OU game today with some referee interest in mind. Get this, OU was called for holding early in the game!!! Ole Miss was never called for holding, I believe. I am about 90% sure OU lost the penalty yardage battle. I don't normally watch OU except against us, but this may be a new trend. The theory coming from me and probably the board has been that if we get OU to be even in penalty yards we rarely lose to them. Encouraging sign to me, to see OU not get preferential ref treatment.
October 26Oct 26 It seems as though SEC refs can't see when a Texas facemask gets grabbed. 4 times in the last 2 games at least.

November 1Nov 1 Stupid blind dumbfucks the QB pulls down our tackler out of bounds and they don’t see anything g through the crowd of people and fucking call it on us anyway

After that, he got jumped by the bench, which definitely should've been called
November 1Nov 1 And on their previous drive on Burke's sack their RT just blatantly held Simmons right in front of the ref and no call.
November 1Nov 1 Man these little bitches getting chippy as fuck. Need to start checking where the refs are then fucking with the receivers. Vandy already about to snap, plus Pavia can't get another uc or he's done for, right?
November 1Nov 1 12 minutes ago, Zeus said: Pavs has all day because refs refuse to call holding on these fucks They told them they were going to flip the script today, call them once for holding early, and never do it again.
November 1Nov 1 At least they get to see the hold/dpi a few times as they confirm the pass is incomplete.
