No “WAS HIS KNEE DOWN BEFORE CROSSING THE PLAIN”. No intention roughness. Non of that crap. Just line up and play. Refs were basically invisible as they should be. It was very refreshing. Then I watched the aggy-Florida game Saturday and it was a non stop flag fest. Just awful. Well, turnovers aside, you were watching the two best teams in the country. No one will mistake the Aggies and Gators for that.

September 17, 20241 yr Eh, I guess the first part of #3 is more applicable within that scenario. Dude tried to shove the wrong head up the aggys ass.
September 19, 20241 yr Complaints about officiating including SEC College Football Officiating Was HORRIBLE Saturday - Josh Pate Reaction Update... College Football officiating was a disaster in week 3 with blown calls and ill-advised flags being thrown left and right. On Josh Pate's College Football Show Ep 555 Josh Pate broke down why College Football officials essentially decided the outcomes of games like LSU vs South Carolina while also making egregious calls in UGA vs Kentucky, Oregon vs Oregon State, and more. After Sunday's show several College Football officials reached out and shared their point of view. UPDATE: College Football Officiating Is Broken - What THEY Told Me
September 28, 20241 yr ACC refs protecting Cam Ward's Heisman campaign and Miami's top-10 ranking. [/url] I watched that last night. It was like they just made up shit as they went on that one. There was absolutely nothing to overturn any call on that.
September 28, 20241 yr Indisputable evidence should be easy and clear to see/understand yet I'm not expecting that once again.
September 28, 20241 yr Indisputable evidence always takes 5+ minutes to see. Those 5 minutes are used for checking on their account transfer.
September 28, 20241 yr As bad as the spots have been, at least we didn’t have 6;748 play reviews and 4+ guys out for targeting for the first half against OU

September 28, 20241 yr Refs did not have a good day. But it didn’t seem like they were trying to fuck one team over. They were not big 12 refs. Fuck that pussy ass conference. Arch did run for 3 TDs on one drive tho. Edited September 28, 20241 yr by Gucci_Suit
September 28, 20241 yr All I know is we better see a written apology for not giving Arch that diving TD. Seemed like indisputable video showing he got in.

The announcers seemed to be focused only on the elbow, too. Edited September 29, 20241 yr by wood
September 29, 20241 yr It was rough what they were calling as holding against us today and what they didn’t call against msu, as mock calls out above. Just some kind of divine shenanigans today fucking with our offense in several ways.

September 29, 20241 yr These refs are light centuries better than the dog crap that the BigXii trotted out there.WRONG. Today was a shit show.
September 29, 20241 yr All I know is we better see a written apology for not giving Arch that diving TD. Seemed like indisputable video showing he got in.Who cares? Scored a few plays later and took more time off the clock.

September 29, 20241 yr All I know is we better see a written apology for not giving Arch that diving TD. Seemed like indisputable video showing he got in.The argument that his elbow hit the pylon was crazy. Like the ball didn’t break the plane.
September 29, 20241 yr was at the game. seems like the only holding on Texas will continue in SEC. It seemed like this crew was again trying to "look" for something on us every time we got a big play.
September 29, 20241 yr 3 hours ago, Tex Pete said: These refs suck…and are nowhere near as shitty as Big 12 refs. Yet. Agree. They weren’t great, but it wasn’t just pure incompetence and fuckery like in the big 12. And they really do call holding.

The spot on that play was the worst thing about them overturning it. At worst the ball should’ve been on the 1 inch line, not the 1.5 yard line.

When has Texas ever lost a really good QB to injury on an unnecessary run call? 13 hours ago, MonkeyDoughnut said: All I know is we better see a written apology for not giving Arch that diving TD. Seemed like indisputable video showing he got in. This, and then I was more amazed his first sneak attempt didn't even get reviewed. The end zone shot showed he clearly crossed. All's well that ends well I suppose, except for the condition of my vocal cords from yelling at the refs on that series.
September 29, 20241 yr The hold on the TD pissed me off the most. Broughton was so clearly grabbed and it was the only way MSU scored.

September 29, 20241 yr the fuckery yesterday was obvious on the drive for the 4th TD. 2 BS holding calls(1 on a TD) to try to keep MSU in it. We overcame and scored the TD and the game was over. flags went back in the pockets, not a single penalty the rest of the game. The Helm call on the Bond screen before the FG debacle was also complete bullshit. that "hold" is exactly what every WR/TE blocking is supposed to do. the announcer said hands outside the framework. If that were the actual limit, every screen has a hold. 45 yards of MSU's 65yds in penalties were obvious facemasks and the wide open hold on the MSU TD was laughable not being called.
September 29, 20241 yr I liked when the refs picked up the flag on the facemask call on Simmons. They showed the replay, and there were two MSU players holding him. But they didn't grab his facemask.
September 30, 20241 yr Late in the game after they came all the way back and went ahead, UGA dbs were straight up assaulting our WRs. One wrapped up our WR from behind, pinning both arms, a full second goes by, the ball arrives WELL within the catch radius of our guy, and . . . Nothing. WORST no call defensive PI I’ve ever seen. If you see this crew (the head ref has a Cajun name, Gaudreaux or Bleauhole or something, looks like Gomer Pyle, eyebrows like caterpillars), prepare thine anus for reffuckery. Fortunately the refs eyes couldn’t follow Ryan Williams he was so smooth.
