Gunther is a heck of a wrestler though. It's great to see the transformation Damian and him have had. I’m not as high on Cody as most. Mjf seemed hotter when both were o. Aew

Son really wants to make a show to see Joe Hendry though. Say his name and he appears. JShep Jr. believes in Joe Hendry.
September 3, 20241 yr I think AEW's biggest problem is their roster size, too many matches on TV are 3+ man tag matches where you are trying to get guys TV time, but there is no story development being done.

I just watched the latest from this past Saturday, and there was no story development in any match. I get it that they have a PPV next weekend, coming of All In last weekend, but still it is just horrible TV. Just a bunch of random tag matches, Buddy Murphy fighting Komander for some reason and Kyle Fletcher fighting Ishii. Tony Khan needs help developing stories to build a weekly TV show around. He has decent macro vision, but his micro vision is really bad.

October 9, 20241 yr I'll always think it was a work. Think scott hall (rip) had said it was a work even the fight . Reasoning was no lawsuits were filed over brett punching vince

October 13, 20241 yr Don't know who all lives in Houston area but if ya get the chance to make a reality of wrestling show it's a must. Some really great talent there. Zilla fatu (umangas son) who shall be up sometime with wwe. Now his mom is the ultimate mom support. She is at the shows running around screaming his name . Then after show handling all the merch and fan pictures. Lilshep asked for a Pic with her.

He and Stevie Ray were training to get into wrestling under Ivan Putski in the Westheimer/ Dairy Ashford area in the late 80s and lifting at the Golds Gym near there. I would see them several times a week and was pretty friendly with them. They are both legit awesome guys. I remember them driving to the Dallas area for shows and saying they'd barely making enough to cover their expenses and save $ by sleeping in their car. I was so happy to see them make it big because I saw the work they put in. Booker would talk about getting in trouble in his younger days and getting out of that life. One time Stevie asked me to spot him on decline, 505x3. I remember praying that he got the reps because there was no way I was going to be able to pull that off his neck .
October 14, 20241 yr Have met booker several times at the shows. His wife runs the ticket office. Both have been extremely humble and nice. Booker and his brothers lifes could have easily taken wrong turns growing up. There was the unfortunate incident Saturday night of a legit injury to a performer. Ref immediately threw up the X arm signal.
October 14, 20241 yr I remember them during their run in the GWF, when ESPN tried to run shows in the Sportatorium. I will say the GWF was an underrated promotion with a lot of young stars like Harlem Heat, X-Pac, Buff Bagwell, Mick Foley, Raven, The Godfather, and JBL to name a few.

I was looking at the GWF roster and remembered the name Jeff Gaylord. I knew he had a a rough life after wrestling but didn't know all the details, including his passing about a year and a half ago https://coloradocommunitymedia.com/2023/04/10/a-story-beyond-thre-streets/

WWE actually tried to stop it from coming out because it wasn’t close to what they thought it would be and they had no control or input on filming or editing the final product. Bret Hart or his wife weren't that good of actors and the whole thing was filmed backstage except in the locker room or Vince’s office. Vince definitely got knocked out and I believe Bruce Prichard, Undertaker’s and others who were there recent versions over Scott Hall who wasn’t there high and drunk in an interview. December 15, 20241 yr Another great reality of wrestling show. Kid had a blast. Left with zillas shirt from his match. For the price it can't be beat
January 7Jan 7 so if i upgraded netflix to no ads am i still seeing ads? is there still an ad break but it's vignettes from the history of the wwe?
January 25Jan 25 Lmao...bored so put it on Smackdown...McConaughey and Kevin Owens shit talking each other. Hinchcliffe in front row too
January 26Jan 26 I like the retro look the wwe is doing with Saturday Night's Main Event. Also, Jesse the Body has still got it as a heel announcer. Elite at calling out the refs for cheating the heel.
January 26Jan 26 They are alive. They have thier wrestlemania at globe life this summer. Ticket price is insane for a product that isn't in that high of demand
February 2Feb 2 That was a hard spot for ko. Didn't have jey winning the rumble nor logan looking strong. Would have liked to joe hendry get more time. But great storytelling

February 2Feb 2 Love how with hhh in charge the story telling has taken a front row seat. Commentators being quite and letting performers and audiences tell the story.
March 2Mar 2 Cena wins Elimination Chamber, turns on Cody during the post match hug. After all these we finally get heel Cena to face Cody Rhodes in the Main Event of Wrestlemania
March 2Mar 2 Who will help cody now vs rock and cena. Cm punk will somehow get ties into mania main event

March 2Mar 2 The mic drop in post show was great. Honestly didn't think hhh had this much creative, story telling .
March 2Mar 2 that was masterfully done last night. i'm a pretty casual fan (though more into lately now that my nephew is getting really in to it), but that fully pulled me in for wrestlemania.
March 11Mar 11 Guess it's punk vs roman vs Seth at wm 41 main event. Curious on how Heyman will play into it.

April 20Apr 20 Beautiful story telling by all 4 guys. Wwe is on fire past 4 to 5 years. Crazy how much Vince was holding everything back .

Hopefully a good surprise opponent for Orton tonight, kinda most excited for Raw Monday. Maybe Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) comes back and Rusev.
