Cena has to win tonight right?  Don’t see him turning heel with no payoff. I’m guessing he doesn’t win clean, then win clean at SummerSlam in the rematch then drop it close to end of year when he puts someone over.

There is more cool in that ring than the entire wwe has had on their roster for the past decade.  UWF Jim Ross was the best JR

  • Took the kid to wwe raw tonight. Had great seats. The women had best match of the night. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Cena wins Elimination Chamber, turns on Cody during the post match hug. After all these we finally get heel Cena to face Cody Rhodes in the Main Event of Wrestlemania

This match to start night two is great. These ladies are crushing it.

This women’s triple threat match is a helluva lot better than the USO/Gunther match last night.

Holy shit that spear by Breaker on Carlito.

Much better than yesterday.  Not a Paul brothers fan but Logan Paul picked up wrestling at high level way quicker than most.

Lmao. Austin crashed his 4 wheeler

And he crashed infront of the worst person possible, looked like a fat Karen now looking for a payday.

That Cena/Rhodes match was pretty rough.

What the hell was that? Cena looked old and slow and including Travis Scott in this whole storyline was stupid. No real payoff after all that prior build up from the Rock.

Scott has no buisness in any storyline. Cena looked lethargic. Also wonder what they do with dirty Dom now.

Never thought he’d make it big but he’s got it.  Crowd loves and hates him

Night 2 started off great with the first 3 matches.  The rest of the card was meh with a pathetic main event.  Becky Lynch was also awful in the ring, No idea what the thought process was on the main event finish.

Night 1 was for the adult fans with the smark darling triple threat ME. Night 2 was for kids and casuals.

Kids care about Travis Scott, even if middle age white dudes don't. The kids will be talking about Travis Scott getting hit with a Crossroads and costing Cody the title. This is how WWE makes new wrestling fans.

The booking of Cena-Rhodes was just classic rasslin'. If you've watched as much wrestling as I and other autists, the tropes were super familiar (ref bump, exposed turnbuckle, celeb distraction) and we could see them coming from a mile away. But we weren't the main audience either.

My main gripe about the ME applies to pretty much the whole industry in that finisher spam bores me at this point

I read an article that was written about the main event from last night. The crux of the article was that Cena said multiple times he was going to destroy wrestling and he basically proved that last night. His intro was just his name on a black background. His wrestling style was slow (multiple times he jumped out of the ring, watched Cody while he was down, same 5 moves, etc). He was basically the opposite of everything that most wrestlers are today. I’m interested to see where they go with it.

Joe hendry. Holy shit

I believe in Joe Hendry

*clap clap*

November he was at row in Texas city. Really fun night. To go from that to wrestlemania with 60k people. Wish the match had been better. Yea son had him sign a baseball 20241110_211047.jpg

Joe Hendry has a chance to blow up with the right storyline. His TNA stories were hilariously well done. I like him and LA Knight a lot from their time in TNA. Eli Drake was a great heel.

Yesterday I was thinking I wish Randy Orton would get one more title push since he is close to being done. Nice to see him deliver the RKO to Cena on Raw last night.

HHH is a Joe Hendry guy:  I kept waiting for Sami to turn, they teased the hell out of it subtly.

Hhh gets what wwe is. He knows that the champ doesn't have to fit a mold like Vince did until steroid trails forced him to go with better talent that otherwise I don't think he ever would have.

Complaint about Raw on Netflix: there seems to be absolutely no way to just join the live broadcast. I want to watch the last 30 minutes live, not have to fast forward through 3 hours

Read the other day that there might be a power struggle going on between Hunter and Dwayne over who has final say. Apparently the two don't like each other very much for their past battles inside the ring.

Also, not a big fan of booking Seth Rollins to win the MITB. The dude is stale as shit, LA Knight is what the people want.

Happy that the stupid Death Riders story has been killed. Hopefully they write off Moxley for a long vacation. His character is too stale.

i was going to say something harsher, but decided that i'll just say that he got the reception he deserved in his final wwe appearance:

Not a fan of what he did behind the curtain ( refusing to work with others, lies and etc...) but Vince, Andre and Hogan changed pro wrestling. Rock n roll with MTV, movies , and nwo. One time you had 7 million people tuning in on Mondays to watch. He had his faults but he changed a entire industry and influenced millions.

Anyone ever catch the AAPW matches in Austin? They’re a blast, tickets are cheap, and it’s BYOB.

Seth cashing in on punk.
Really enjoyed the unreal doc on netflix

That jellyroll match was even shittier than I expected

I was surprised Jelly had the stamina to keep at it as long as he did. Orton was under utilized.

I liked Seth cashing in. I’m also a fan of Punk. Reactions from fans seem to be pissed it wasted Punks moment.

Wasted moment on punk but it does keep seth vs punk till rumble possible mania. Jellyroll taking that table bump was only good part.

Triple threat match was great. Tlc match was insane. Sure Chelsea got injured in that ladder spot

Cena best match in years. Cody gave Cena a 100x better match than mania. But holy hell with the beast being back.

Cena agreed to do some crazy stuff for his age.

Not really a wrestling guy but Bill Simmons had Cody Rhodes on - pretty good listen.

I didn't really know who his dad was so I Wiki'ed him. Dusty was from Austin and went to the same high school as my mom.

In fact - he's the same age as my granddad. They must have played sports against each other.

Edited by ztejas

Dusty was over with people due to being blue collar. Look at a pic of dusty and wonder how he performed the way he did night in and night out is impressive. His iq for the business is top 3 all time.
