That was absolutely not a double touch.

Disagree, his plant foot caused the rise into the top of the net. His strike skipped up off the plant foot sliding under it.

But I’m biased.

So you are proposing the double touch was right foot kicking it into the left foot on the way?

Villa in the final 8 is pretty wild.

If only Atlético had Dibu between the pipes.

Declan Rice may have just won the Puskas Award with that goal. holy fuck.  i didn't think you could make the ball bend like that anymore.

can’t remember the last time i saw a free kick that far outside the post that went in. i’ve seen him to do something similar in training videos, but to actually score that in your one shot, in the CL, against Madrid; wow.

those were two pretty fucking wild free kicks. talk about feeling it. you couldn't draw a line better than those two.

@Speedtrucker even has to tip his hat.

yeah, i always read that the design of the ball changed and it just doesn't swerve like it did in the Roberto Carlos days.

then the motherfucker does it again. not as much bend, but pinpoint accuracy.

please Arsenal, knock Real Madrid out.

Declan Rice direct free-kicks scored in his career to date (matches with full data coverage): ◎ 0 - First 381 matches ◉ 2 - Inside 12 minutes vs Real Madrid tonight #UCL

today's arroz matriculation is the only the 2nd time in my life i can recall 2 spectacular set goals in 1 game from the same player

many of you remember the leigh griffiths wondershots against england in a mundial qualifier in '17

an understanding of the auld enemy history between those 2 sides makes the 2-2 result in that game even more spectacular than the gunner's triumph today

for those who don't, here's the tale of the tape;

leigh griffiths went on to score 2 more goals for scotland before his celtic career came to an end

he moved to perth to be a player/coach for the 5th division Mandurah City Dolphins at a ground seating 2000

Been in trial since last week.

Walked out and checked the score…. Also had a text from my mate that is a team owner in the lower U.S. divisions and a big Arsenal fan with Rice’s goal…

Damn…. That was pretty badass

And triple damn. Getting tired of pulling for massive Madrid comebacks

Rangers avoided a huge goal with a handball penalty that they successfully blocked, Rangers vs. Athletic club still 0-0 at 83 min. And Bilbao has a power play after an earlier red.

(Kenny) Szczesny just gave away a penalty goal after a full body tackle. Dort up 1-0
