awesome fucking win.  i thought they were toast late in the fourth quarter.  ballsy effort to get that one back after giving it away.

Same. I thought they ran out of gas, especially after blowing a big lead. Awesome sign seeing them gut it out down the stretch on the road against a good team.

Sooooo, I’m in the Amsterdam Airport and ran into this tall dude sporting Rockets gear.  I introduced myself and he said his name was Clint.  Man, he was as nice and gracious as he could be.  I told h

Really just want to post the vid because the play Amen made to tie it at 102 was massive

But heres a bunch more from him

The two biggest plays of the game were Amen Thompson's steal and layup tying the game and the 3 in OT to tie the game. The Rockets had had 3 bad OT possessions before Amen knocked down that 3, and the Rockets added the next 8 points on top of it for an 11-0 run to put the game away.

The obvious core is Sengun, Thompson, Eason, and Smith. Need more playing time for Reed to see if he can add to it.

Love the veteran play of Van Vleet, Brooks, and when available Adams.

After slow starts, Brooks is over 40% and Smith is at 34.5% and going up.

The defensive ability of Sengun, Brooks, Thompson, Smith, and Eason is the driving force behind this record. We need one more shooter in the rotation and we are cooking with serious gas.

So looking at the statistics, rookie Jalen Green appears to be a more efficient player than 4th year vet Jalen Green.  For those of y’all more able to watch the games, is there some performance improvements you see that are missed by looking at the stats?

No.

Worst EFG% On ISOs So Far In The 2024-25 NBA Regular Season (Min. 30 Total ISO Possessions) : 1. Jalen Green

Jalen starts tonight’s game en fuego. If only he could be like this 2/3 of the time instead of 1/3, we’d be in business.

I like the Team France guy’s game. Not sure where he would have fit in the Rockets, but smart move for the Sixers to give him a shot. I think if he was drafted by any other team than the Celtics he would have a solid NBA rotation player for the past 8 seasons.

yall keep talking shit about green, he read this thread

Probably not surly, but reading Rockets Twitter is definitely plausible. Smith has picked it up big time after social media buried him.

Look if we go 54-28 and Green is 3-11 for 14 points 3 out of 4 games and is 14-22 for 35 in the 4th and the team is cool with it, I’ll take it.

I was all about a 2-1 or 3-1 trade but now I’m not sure what kind of (realistic) trade makes us better than Boston or OKC (with Chet) so why not try to do it with what we got?

He tries to pay defense and doesn't get the ball every play.

3, 4, and 7 on this list.

Sengun is 3rd in +/- this season and barely. He’s right behind Tatum and Shai, but look who sits right behind Sengun.

Again no.

Ime Udoka said they tried to get Jalen Green downhill more today so he wouldn’t be as reliant on his jumpshot.Needs to be the emphasis going forward.

big four game stretch coming up over the next 10 days: vs. okc, @ sacramento, @ golden state, @ clippers.  then it will be the knockout stage of the nba cup.

its fun to be playing meaningful games again!

I’m cautiously approaching this run. Are we the out of the blue team this season and legit or just on a run and we will level out and end up dropping to the play in game. They are damn fun to watch right now.

We need to preparing a huge offer for Anthony Edwards. Starting with Green and most of the Phoenix picks, and salary filler to match. He's pissed with the losing in Minnesota. He's the exact guard we need on this team to take us to the upper echleon of the Western Conference, especially if we can keep our core of Sengun, Smith, Thompson, and Eason.

Van Vleet, Edwards, Brooks, Smith, Sengun, Eason, and Thompson would be a lethal rotation to deal with in the playoffs.

Schn pisses me off. Two questionable fouls called on the Rockets so far and they refuse to show replays of it. Instead they want to show a replay of a shot that was made 2 mins ago

Sheppards mom must of made him shave for Thanksgiving.(yes i know Movember shit is over) Dude looks 12.

Mitchell getting punked. Jabari blocks him, Tari drives and scores on him, then loose ball foul on him in the span of a minute.
