Sooooo, I’m in the Amsterdam Airport and ran into this tall dude sporting Rockets gear.  I introduced myself and he said his name was Clint.  Man, he was as nice and gracious as he could be.  I told h

Their D has completely negated our offensive system. Amen has been neutered on the offensive end. Green can’t get to the rim, and Alpi is having to work too hard for everything.

Being way younger and more athletic I don’t see how we can’t push the tempo and wear them out. They’re old. Take advantage.

Has anyone from the NBA explained why OKC/MEM completed four games before we even tipped off our third?  Not alleging a big conspiracy or anything, but strange to have one series routinely have one day off between games and another have two.

GS (and especially Butler) lucked out big time with the spread out schedule.

Because they really want to have 4 games on Saturday and Sunday for each of the first 2 weekends of the playoffs. So they stretch a few series to make the schedule work. No telling how they pick which series get extended vs others, but that is the goal.

Need the young guys to trust their instincts a bit more and not overthink. We are the underdogs at this point. Take a deep breath and just go play.

Yep, the issue is always going to be that they want 8 games on the weekends, but they lose at least 1 (and sometimes 2) TV windows during the week. But the inconsistency in days off and who gets to finish first and who keeps playing is kind of fuckity fuck, but you'd imagine one of the "perks" of being the 1 seed is finishing first.

I mean I don’t think it’s a conspiracy or anything because who the fuck is helping out OKC? Maybe if it was the lakers. It’s possible it’s about seeding? And maybe it is set up to where some series start off with multiple days off between games but the last 3-4 games are only 1 day off between each game and other series have quicker playing dates to start then more to end? No idea. Just spitballing on how they try to balance it all out.

They alternate the 4 series with the days off. The Clippers-Nuggets series now gets the 2 days off between games bullshit, while the Rockets-Golden State and the Minnesota-Lakers series is now one day off for the reminder of the series. The OKC-Memphis series would have switched to 2 days off, but OKC beat the shit out of them in 4.

Can't shoot. Have to be able to shoot to win by pushing tempo.

Jalen and PHX picks for Giannis.

Hell no to Giannis. He's going to age horribly, as he has limited basketball skills. We don't need anymore shitty shooters on this team.

I doubt Indy pulls the plug. Win 3 in a row against the Warriors, and then trade for Curry in the off-season.

LETS GOOOOOOOO

I would love to see a massive comeback here but feels like it’s gonna be a blowout. If Houston gets up like this that fast we end up losing, if Houston gets down like this that fast we end up losing. Womp womp.

Well that would be one way for me to never post in a Rockets thread

Nice recovery. I still amazed that Jalen Green has never developed any type of floater. Like what the fuck does he work on in the off-season, since it's not getting physically stronger or dribbling.

Nice fight by the team to cut it to 2 at the end of the 1st. Happy to see a few 3s dropping and some good shooting, but this offense is stagnant most of the time. Too heavy on ISO.

I really just want them to beat the Warriors. Don't care if they lose to the Twolves in 4, just beat down this team of assholes.

Yet another bullshit flop from Jimmy. Had plenty of time and visibility to avoid contact, but of course, it's easier to just run into a guy and pretend he shoulder checked you.

This offense is fucking worse than Rodney Terry Texas Basketball. The NBA is supposed to be a reprieve from watching  bad offense.

Well that worked out well, in hindsight.

Brooks, man.  Can't let Curry get in your head like that.  Channel that energy better.

lol, they gave him a flagrant to keep him in the game? Dipshits

That's absurd.  None of that is a flagrant foul.  It's a technical foul or it's nothing.

This feels like there's a chance of an actual fight.
