Each season is around 8 episodes and the comedian with the most points wins. It's very funny and there are a bunch of seasons, all of which are on YouTube. Greg is really funny and I have a huge crush on Victoria Coren Mitchell who is on there sometimes. If you like Taskmaster you should check out 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, I linked it earlier in this thread and Greg and Vicky both feature on it.

November 20, 20241 yr In the same vein as Restrepro. Quality is fucking amazing for something released on YouTube, so watch it on a TV. Just came out, 2 hours, 20 minutes. Edited November 20, 20241 yr by atomheartbevo
December 5, 20241 yr Been watching a lot of this guy lately. He has a gift for explaining physics in a very approachable and intuitive way. He also does it with joy and fascination which is very engaging.

December 14, 20241 yr For the MS Paint aficionados, my son got me to watch all of these with him: The Big Lez Show Sassy the Sasquatch I don't really think I can explain them, but by the time we were done I really enjoyed both (and several other things the same guy has done). Sassy is actually pretty fucking awesome, and would probably be even better if watched in an "augmented" state. I've quit trying to understand his generation, it's a lot more fun to just enjoy the absurdity or whatever the fuck it is.

Also add for British panel shows: Would I Lie to You (with team captain, David Mitchell, Vicky's nerdy husband) QI Eight Out of Ten Cats (non-Countdown version) Non-Panel Shows: Geography Now (15 min to 1 hour episodes on every UN-recognized country....took several years to make) Casual Geographic - funny review of weird shit in the animal world Ze Frank (True Facts) - funny review of weird shit in the animal world MAJ (My Analog Journal) - DJ shows with eclectic offerings Every Frame a Painting - film analysis, videos usually under 10 minutes. Were only 14 episodes until recently when he restarted content. Cinefix - film analysis. Recently has gotten stale with "top 100" movie podcasts, but their top 10 lists from years past are excellent. "Top 10 Use of Color" is my favorite. Hiking channels: Kraig Adams, Herman Hoek for international. Outside & Stuff for any hiking in the PNW, although its quality is lower. B1M - construction industry videos Lindsay Nikole - paleontology - kind of annoying metal-nerd delivery, but she has a "History of Life" series that I really like.
December 20, 20241 yr I found this pretty interesting, didn't watch it in one sitting as it's an hour long...
December 20, 20241 yr I managed a 24 hr restaurant years ago. There is nothing more impressive than a solo cook that knows what he's doing during a rush. Multitasking like a mofo. When it's over they step out back burn a lung dart and come down from the adrenaline buzz. After work parties are the best. Everybody from the different places meet up like Party at The Moon Tower.

June 4Jun 4 Been enjoying watching this British game show called Pointless. It is like the opposite of Family Feud where you try to get the least amount of points by answering the least popular/obscure answer.
June 7Jun 7 I've seen random clips of Taskmaster over the years, but I saw Jason Mantzoukis was on this season, so decided to give it a shot. Very little makes me laugh more or brings me more joy. Basically, the hosts put 5 comedians/actors through a series of tasks in an episode and name a winner. The tasks are sometimes clever, sometimes the tasks are there to make the contestants look like total asses, and sometimes both. A ton of low stakes fun
