Texas vs. Mississippi State - 3:15pm on SEC Network

My crazy theory on the running game struggles for Texas offense:

Blue doesn't know the plays very well.

His first steps are tentative.  He then gets yards by his athleticism.   I have seen few "downhill" runs from him.  Always a shift cut or hesitation.

I don’t know how he can’t know the playbook after three years in the program, but I agree with how you describe his running today.

Who the fuck are you to be complaining about ridiculous takes during a game? You posted the dumbest one of all in the first quarter of our CSU game this year.

Honestly, this type of uninspired performance isn't going to do us any favors in Graham Harmon's SEC Power Rankings.

Dude, I cannot get over that drop. It was so on the money that it would have been a dagger to Lebby. At least we got it back with Moore.

21 to 6 feels a lot better right now.

Cook needs to redeem himself.

He can redeem himself on the bench by getting everyone water when they are thirsty. I wouldn't play him again unless we are up 3+ scores in the 4th quarter.

As much as it feels like the defense is getting whipped, they gave up 6pts. It’s the offense that has shit the bed.  That drop was brutal.

Two TD’s allowed in 4.5 games.
That’s pretty good.

Well I hoped we were no longer the kind of team that had games like this but I guess we are.

It's alright. Just get out there and win it guys.

georgia has a longer recent history of being good and they squeaked past kentucky 13-12 last week. teams lay eggs.

SIAP... 9mins of Texas offense in 1st half

Couldn't agree more. God that drop was so bad. Wingo would have housed it. Damn that sucks. I haven't seen Wingo yet. Has he gotten playing time?

Jesus this Halftime Report is just as bad as our local Texas Gameday in Austin.

Atrocious

If you have ESPN+ (I got it with my Disney/Hulu bundle) you can the stream halftime show in the ESPN app! It beat the shit outta talking heads lol

Oh for fucks sake, punt, fumble, dropped td pass is why this isn't a blowout.

Are you not seeing that running game?? They’re gashing us

A lot of stupid bitchass posts.  Cook's fuckup is the main thing keeping this from being a laugher.  We will still win by 30.

A fumble near the red zone, a dropped td pass, and a tipped punt. Not the best half but at least we have the lead

Would probably be 24-3 without the fumble and the drop.  Can’t make those mistakes

It’s their 30 carries for 115 yds in a half that concerns me. That kind of running game wears on a defense in the second half. We really need a score coming out after halftime to take them out of that game.

He got hurt on a little bubble screen. I don't think he came back.

the repitition on these sec commercials is actually worse than the rotation that was on LHN.

If we could make the tackle at first contact it wouldn't look so bad. So many missed tackled I couldn't even keep count.

I said it was a crazy theory, but here we are.

The voiceover guy for “Down South” talking about 15 yr old girls in that fireworks salesman accent is fairly unsettling.

I don’t think I can agree with that.

We’re lucky to have the depth that we do.

as anyone seen Wingo? I haven't seen him at all...

he was hurt on the wr screen, grabbed his knee and left the field, no news no update.

They showed up and punched us in the mouth. Time to get up and knock them the fuck out.

Was not a great call either they read it like a book

Man that sucks hard. Hope he's OK. We need him.

YouTube TV multibox. This is the way. I'm watching aggy/pig OU/Auburn, and Wisky/USC along with the Texas game in a 4-pack

Bond missed his block that’s why it didn’t work

Bond got housed on that play.  and him being on the ground is how wingo got hurt.

sucks.     we have a lot of improvement to make today.

I need 38, got damnit!

Plus M State time of possession. So, there's some missed tackles, blown assignments and general lack of defense involved.

And on at least one of those sideline screens, Bond couldn't have given a shit less about blocking his man for those complaining about play calls. Players have to execute.

Nice to see Moore get in the endzone. Been close a couple times

Could easily be up 21-3 if not for a stopped pass and maybe 24/28-3 if not for a fumble inside the 20.

still sloppy play so far

bad tackling. Soft against the run. Can’t run. Mistakes and penalties on offense.

I think it’s pretty simple. Team has been sniffing their own farts, D hasn’t faced anyone with a physical run game and wasn’t ready for it, and a freshman quarterback (though he’s pretty good for a freshman).

Recipe for struggles.

Uh...Michigan?

Blue needs to hold onto the ball until he hears a whistle.

He was down but blue needs to hold that ball like it’s a fucking newborn puppy
