If he’s only living there from April to October, Michigan is pretty great.  And Detroit is a lot better town than its current reputation. It’s lagging the improvements the city’s made the last few years.

All of this.

Comerica is outstanding. The downtown area has completely pulled a 180 the last few years. Solid food scene in multiple spots around the city.

buy some massive estate lot in Bloomfield Hills and set Reagan and the kiddos up on a massive secluded place to spend the summer where they can actually enjoy being outside…Detroit weather beats the hell out of Houston for 4.5 of the 6 months of the season.

I did the Detroit road trip on the last weekend in August a couple of years ago. Detroit trip isn’t on a weekend this year but is in mid-August. Highly recommend

Brick Red cap is ass my dudes. Why do I have a feeling the Bagwell infection has not yet been cleansed.
I would prefer an oilers themed Astros Uniform the next city connect spacer.png

Kinda bummed Corpus changed the double hook CC logo.  I really liked that one and have a bunch of caps with it.

If they had any balls at all, the Houston City-connect unis would be purple.

Hahahahahaha can you imagine the explanation for the choice of the color purple? Wellll…. Cough syrup is a very important part of the culture of Houston.

If that accurate fuck him. I’m not going to boo him or anything but that’s pretty bitch made and shows he doesn’t really want to be here. Which cool- he didn’t choose to come here in the first place so can’t blame him in that regard, but whatever.

Here's my take on the Alex Bregman situation, I don't think he signs with a team until well into spring training.. or even later. That seems like the Scott Boras way when they can't get the deal they want. Right now, I don't think there is a team in the lead for him.

I may have missed something but why is that a horrible take?  Boras does have that history.

It's gonna be so nice having a vaccum cleaner at first again.

I would argue that we've had a guy there who sucks for some time.

There is no way Bregman is gonna miss a portion of the season. This isn't Jordan Montgomery.

Way better than the Kevin Dyson plays football joke I was gonna go with

Incomprehensible bad would be a team signing Bregman late in spring training.

he might not hit his first homer until after the 4th of July

I have one of those boxes somewhere in my memorabilia collection.  I packed it all away when I moved and haven't seen it since.  That was in 2003.

I went to that Tristar show as I normally do.  I got Hunter Brown, Arrighetti, Brice Matthews to sign a book I have that brings me up to 79 current/former Astros players autos in it.  Wagner was there signing for the first time to be able to put HOF25 on his stuff so he had a nice turnout.  Biggio/Bagwell always draw a nice crowd.  Hunter Brown had a decent line as well at one point.

Also saw Sandberg, Goose Gossage, Yainer.

And I know most of you love this guy....Keith Hernandez.

I have that cereal box too somewhere
But do you have this poster?

I saw the guy selling it for $40 lol. Mctaggart took a pic and tweeted it.

Yep. I only lived in Houston for two rodeo seasons and remember going…2005 was one of them.

I just remember seeing the cutouts for the bases and everything else being concrete.

Yeah we had it in a huge tent on the east side of the lot heading towards the bus and rail lines

Dome Hideout was awesome. Went several times that year, felt like it was in there two or three years but I’ll take the committeeman’s word for it. Going down the tunnel and then onto the floor, throwing down $6 crown and cokes, and looking up at the Astrodome ceiling as you two stepped with some young drunk lass in a denim skirt was peak bachelorhood for me.
