More names in the field this week than I thought there would be.

Scottie with an 8 under score of 62 to tie for the lead.

Quite the blatantly different conditions this week. Guess it makes for a good mental weekend, which those that played last week needed pretty bad.

Took my 12 year old out on Sunday.  While I was happy in the club on 17 he wanted to autograph hound so  you can guess how most of the afternoon was spent. He got the gray hat from one of the Pum

Rory with a 64.

Reports of his demise were maybe exaggerated. Think his 67 on Sunday was the low round?

I think you’re right, and he was the lowest Sunday.

Had to feel good after the first three days. 😂

Rory is the king of the Sunday backdoor though. Him acting all petulant and not talking to the media at the PGA was really weird.

Jordan withdrew due to back/neck issues. Maybe he wanted to hit up it up again

Yeah, that didn’t age well at all.

“I’m still young enough that that doesn’t really bother me.”

Orly?

31 ain’t 21!

Scottie gives one back on 6, sitting real pretty for the bounce back on 7.

The guy he was tied with hasn't teed off yet, but highest on the course other than Scottie is Henley at -5 and he's on 17. Rest at the top will be on the course by 12:45.

ETA: JJ's +6 through 7.

Damn this really is a good leaderboard.

He seems to be in his Big Ern phase. Very strange considering he had the golf world in his hand in April.

Scottie solo at -10, through 13.

JT and Eckroat at -9, through 15 and 5, respectively.

Rors/Bradley at -6, just starting their round.

2 eagles in 3 holes for fleetwood. Then birdies the next hole to tie the lead.

Scottie making an absolute mess of the first hole. Pretty rare.

Makes a triple.

oof a smooth 39 on the front....he's gonna have to shoot 30 on the back.

I, too, shot a 39 on the front this morning.  Paired nicely with a 50 on the back

Fleetwood gonna pop his cherry finally?

Seen on the magazine rack for sports at the Nuremberg (Nürnberg) 🇩🇪 train station about 4 hours ago…

Keegan gonna get inside his head today, win the event...and give Tommy nightmares at the Black course in September

CBS letting this 3v3 basketball shit finish before airing the final round. Smart.

I may have miscalculated, if Scottie gets in the clubhouse at -14 the pressure goes up with each par putt

I will never understand how people continue yelling random shit in public when the crowd inevitably turns to them with looks of disgust and embarrassment every time. And I'm someone who has ingested his fair share of alcohol and said his fair share of stupid shit in public. But golf bros are the absolute fucking worst. "Bruh, that was me yelling 'Light the candle!' to Scottie on 14."

It has been bad this week. At least be original you morons.

These Traveler's Insurance commercials are intense. From "we'll call the Secret Service for your ass to get your money back" to "we'll go to the ends of the earth to find your lost dog."

Is fleetwood gonna fuck this up

Yes.

Sure glad we sent JT and Spieth to the last Ryder Cup over that dude.

Oh Tommy.

Is it really never going to happen for him?

I switched over to the Dodgers, and came back to what was Tommy up 1 on 18 to Bradley winning it.  What happened?

Poor Tommy, but Keegan was stones. He needs to play in the Ryder Cup.

Can he realistically though? Feels like a lot to be a player and the captain. They kind of fucked him over (again) by making him the captain.

5 foot putts are fucking hard.

The individual fans yelling stupid shit with the ball in the air are morons and always will be, but the overall crowd was insane down the stretch with some Ryder Cup vibes and Fleetwood withered. Nice preview for September.

Keegan has to play at this point. He energizes everything in that area of the country.

That's Keegan's 4th win in 3 years which has now doubled how many he had before that.

Nice little resurgence late in his career.

I agree it's a lot. But after the top 5-6 players, things get shaky for the US squad. Keegan's had a really good year.

He was a fantastic pick for captain at Bethpage Black. I feel good about the team's intensity and focus with him off the course, but even better with him on it.

Can Keegan not just let someone else be captain or enlist more help from other guys?

Keegan just said in an interview that he will play in the Ryder Cup if he feels he's deserving a spot. Said that today changed things.

Good thing I didn't bet on that 💩

the only problem I see is that you are telling guys to sit while you play, which mentally could weigh on you.  that said, as you say, we are very meh down the order and if he is still playing well in August he should play.  who are the assistants that could kind of be co-captain for him.

Keegan is 9th right now in current Ryder Cup Standings : https://www.rydercup.com/us-rankings

Look at the list of players below him. Who would you rather have on the team instead of him? Right now it's looking like a rough year for Captain's picks. Please keep Cantlay at home.
