The zombie apocalypse could happen and if I was the last remaining human OU would  still suck.

Man OU used to suck!

And damn they've just continued to suck all these years crazy

Is this really only the second time that we are ranked number 1 going into the Texas - ou game?

1964 ... and then ?

Definitely not. One of the most memorable games ever - 1984 #1 Texas vs #3 Oklahoma, 15-15 tie in the rain.

I still can't believe that 2013 game happened. OU put the user slider all the way to 100 and still lost to Case fucking McCoy.

Well fuck me.  You are correct.

I would have thought that 1970 and 2009 would have been on that list ... but...  NOOOOOOO

Quinn has been to another college football cornerstone rivalry game in Ohio State-Michigan and even then the Red River Shootout made him take it all in

I was 10 and was at that game. We rode the Texas exes bus up with the olds. I drew the 5-5 square for $100 jackpot final score. Fuck me silly ain’t no one winning the 5-5 score. Geez. Took that $100 and put it on Walmart stock. Paid for a semester of tuition about 10 years later. Shoulda left it there.

that was back when the fair was really a carnie and they had the row of freaks they would call them.  It was raining so all the rides were closed. So we did freak row. I was too afraid to see the fattest man in the world but the shortest bearded lady was harmless so I thought. My world was rocked when I walked into that trailer and saw what I swear to god was a 2.5 foot old lady with a rip van winkle beard and I swear to god it was real.  Fuck I started crying, the world was all kinds of fucked up.

I’ll never forget that game.

Why did y'all sit on the ou side?

I actually did my first RRS. It was fucking awesome, I was wearing burnt orange in a sea of Crimson while Vince Young fucked them straight up and down all day long. Snuck in a flask as one was to do back then and got hammered. Ate corny dogs and fried snickers til I puked outside. It fucking ruled.

I was sitting in the upper deck right on the goal line, row 4 for that game.

I live across the street, I am an active investor in the area. Fair park is the next area of gentrification.

I don’t know if Vegas does it, but the spread in August vs now has to be a 7ish point swing. No way sooner isn’t favored game day.

I got +9.5 in August.

Take the bet. If Oklahoma is favored on game day, get ready for some of our kids to have the game of their life. They’ll be up for it. Also, this game is always so weird so I’m iffy on gambling on it.

Never.  But I definitely have value at +9.5.

People don't realize that the land in south Dallas is a gold mine for developers. Also, if the Sooners are favored, we'll win.

I offered 13.5 to the okies and aggy on my softball team one night in August while drinking.

Fortunately, not many had the balls...er...confidence to take me up on it.

I've long thought that Laura Miller not giving in to Jerry Jones was the millstone that dragged the Fair Park area to the bottom of the ocean for decades. Some town was going to cave, and it should have been smack right next to downtown instead of in Arlington.  Same goes for Globe Life field and the still vacant plot of land that Reunion Arena sits on that could've housed the Rangers.

I'd love to see more of the area become vibrant and safe. But, people have been talking about the neighborhood being the next big thing for at least 30 years.

At least the Tx/ousux game won't be pulled out of Fair Park for the foreseeable future...

Same, I was 8 at about the 20 under the overhang in the OU section for the Stonie stop. I went ape shit, my dad scooped me up under his arm and hightailed it out of there to the Texas side for the Eyes. I got sick as shit on the way home from eating at every stall I could walk to after the game. It was glorious.
