What a game last night.  MSG lives up to the hype.  Fantastic venue.  10/10 experience.  Now on a flight back to Dallas to get ready to beat the Buckeyes.

Y’all look at February? Got dang nhl. 2 games at home bookended and all the rest are on the road.

2 PP goals and a shorty given up combined with 0-3 on your own PP will get you beat a lot.  killed on the faceoffs also.

We're at the quarter pole, or thereabouts, and here are some quick hits based on the first 20 games

1. We have played 12/20 games against teams with a winning record. Of those games, we are 6-6.
2. Against the teams we have played with a losing record, we are 7-1.
3. The combined win record for the teams we have beat is 116-129-40 or an equivalent win percentage of 48%
4. The record for teams we have lost to is 90-51-8 or a win percentage of 63%

We are beating the teams we should and losing pretty steadily to teams we should be at least 50/50 with. I don't know if it's personnel or effort but we're off pace and 'feel' from last season. The next 21 should tell us a lot about how far we might go with the current roster and how necessary it will be to make a move or several before the trade deadline.

Dumba The Clown out there.

What a dumb signing. Dude is washed and hated.

I’m glad I was fighting I-35 between dallas and temple, it was more fun apparently.

good win against a banged up avs team. was probably closer than it should have been as we let them back in again, but did enough to get it done.

nice little matinee endcap before the return to normalcy for a couple weeks. still kinda wild that the Stars have still not lost 3 in a row under DeBoer. that's consistency

been so busy didn't realize we had a b2b. M-W-F-Su is a schedule I could get used to. the players, probably not so much

Had to help with algebra homework at 0-0. Now it’s 2-0. I heart math.

Jamie buying time for his guys at the dot.  Captain stuff.

that was great. he was basically salsa dancing at the dot to prevent the Utah player from being able to grab the puck. He did it two faceoffs in a row and I was laughing like a fucking idiot the second time bc I knew it was coming. I even remarked to the wife how great it was - she nodded and went back to painting (art)

Seguin out 4-6 months

He’s not hurt, Jim Nill playing 3D checkers and pulling a mark stone.
