Gunnar as co-MVP?

The Wisner/Gunnar scheme is a good offense to run.

And it will get better.

This.  He has some Jordan Whittington roschon unselfish I just wanna win in him. Gives 100 every play. That fumble recovery will be RRR lore in terms of hustle and turning the game

The very last game I attended at Texas as a student was the 2010 BCS championship game. I was a super-super senior with 5 years of season tickets under my belt, so I had incredible seats in the front row at the rose bowl. One of the most miserable games of my entire life. I actually got stranded in LA after the game and had to catch a cab to take me back to UCLA campus where I was staying and the cabbie ripped me off with a fair of like $70. When I was in college, Texas was the talk of college football and one of the biggest sources of joy in my life, so being down for so, so long stung.

So, all that said, seeing this headline right now is indescribable. Dream season so far, I hope we keep it up:

Oklahoma coach Brent Venables said that if OU won, he would try a Fletchers corndog for the first time. Steve Sarkisian walked into the postgame press conference with a corndog.

Steve Sarkisian walked into the press conference eating a corn dog after @TexasFootball beat OU 🤣👏Earlier this week, Brent Venables said he'd try a corn dog if OU beat Texas 👀

Edit: So Georgia may not come close to beating Mississippi St by more points than Texas did.  Will they get the same blowback?

That’s a damn old school SEC game you stupid sip!  Not the same!

Love that Sark has that fuck you confidence about him. He's usually highly complementary of Ven. I wonder if something happened for Sark to troll Ven like this.

Funniest thing about this game was OU being ranked 18th.

That’s how dumb these polls are.

Maybe they are 18th, maybe we are just that good.

They aren’t a top 25 team. That was obvious when they almost lost to terrible Auburn and Houston teams.

It was an incredibly impressive play for us as fans obviously. But the commentators were gushing over it too. It’s the kind of play that earns him some money when scouts watch it.

some great lines on Reddit

> Texas fears no one. Oklahoma fears the end zone.

> This was like watching a UFC fighter beat up a guy in a wheelchair.
>> With the wheel lock on.

> Hawkins threw the ball out of bounds good as fuck
>> In fairness, out of bounds is our best healthy receiver.

> Seth Littrell: "Okay one Red River Shutout, just like you asked for boss."
> Brent Venables: "No, no...Shootout! Red River Shootout, you idiot!"

> OU has never won a Red River Shootout in the SEC
>> They came close that once. They even led 3 nothing.

> If you are a 3 year old oklahoma fan, you live in a world where you have a 33% chance to score a touchdown against Texas
>> You also wonder why mommy and daddy are yelling so much

> Texas is legit and we suck that is all

Ok.  Catching up on the thread.  Good to know 10,000 folks in the endzone and I were not crazy about the lack of holding calls on sooner.  Good Lord that was bad.

Fine. I am just a little tired of this getting brought out every time we beat somebody.

If we beat Georgia next week suddenly they will not be a "top 25 team" or some shit.

The most impressive thing to me about this team ---> 0, 12, 7, 3, 13, and 3.

SIAP. Just saw on the halftime show for tOSU/OU that they put Baker Mayfield's jersey at the 50 and planted the flag on it. Nice.
