Fine. I am just a little tired of this getting brought out every time we beat somebody.

If we beat Georgia next week suddenly they will not be a "top 25 team" or some shit.

If Texas defeats a team they were clearly over-rated.  /aggy

I just said that earlier in this thread. Lulz.

Will the HATE-TEXAS yankee-sports-"media" claim Texas "didn’t REALLY win The National Championship" after winning the College Football Playoffs because "ALL the playoff teams SUCKED this year, blah, blah, blah...." FFS!

6.5 per game scoring defense.  Nice.

Steve Sarkisian walked into the press conference eating a corn dog after @TexasFootball beat OU 🤣👏Earlier this week, Brent Venables said he'd try a corn dog if OU beat Texas 👀

My man crash on Sark is getting serious and borderline gay.

I'll calm down tomorrow.

Probably.

I’d like to hope so. But already heard people saying OSU has been more impressive and will jump Texas after this week.

Who cares? Win the SEC, win the playoffs. Only #1 that matters is at the end of the season.

I have cell service again = I blew a homeless guy in the State Fair parking lot and was able to recharge my tracphone at the 7-11. $3.17 worth of service doesn't go as far as it used to before COVID, thanks a lot Biden.

What the chances either Hawkins or Arnold are at Oklahoma next year?  Pretty low IMO.

This dude is going to go down as an all-time great here, jfc

Yep.  He’s got to do some more in January, but he’s already doing things that Mack never could in October.

Holding OU to a FG is pretty damn great. If Quinn had come out guns blazing, we put 50 on them. Once he got settled in, he was pretty good. Running game was excellent. Wisner just needs to be the guy and Blue can spell him. The WRs and Gunnar really stepped up after Bond got hurt. Wingo will be a star. The defense was incredible. Tons of a great pressure, they got control of OU's running game. The turnovers created. I'm sure some in the media will just chalk it up to OU's offense being bad and it is but the defense dominated OU and made Hawkins show how much a freshman he is. I almost wished they had brought out Jackson Arnold just so we could have had some pick six opportunities. That was a very satisfying win in a series where we don't get too many of those kind of one-sided blowouts. Sark's now got 2 on his ledger. He should be 3-1 against OU if we didn't choke it away last year. I think we finally have the coach that gets this rivalry. He added some nice misdirection plays with Gunnar. Really nothing better than seeing the other half the Cotton Bowl start to empty out in the early 4th.

OU has a Venables problem and I am here for it.  There is a reason that dude was passed over for HC jobs for the better part of two decades.

This would have been considered an incredibly important poem if Charles Bukowski had written it.

I think Hawkins can be pretty decent. Arnold seems like he’s quit on the team. Which I don’t blame him.

I'm glad OU is finally getting to experience what happens when you make the wrong hire.

You could tell Sark was trying to twist the knife today. Quinn just a little too rusty. Nice to treat the sister fuckers like a warm up game. See y'all in Austin next Saturday.

The RB pass was really nice when you're already up big. I think that was a little payback for last year.

This is fucking awesome. I remember when I was in school you'd see Longhorn gear on Chapelle show and on celebs and shit. Texas was THE cool brand in 2005.

Gunnar Helm's reaction after the catch was badass. He was talking mad shit to both defenders.

OU's former quarterback, who was either pushed out for Jackson Arnold or who had the foresight to leave the sinking ship SS Sooner Schooner, just beat Ohio State.

One wonders how different the game would have been today with Gabriel behind their patchwork line.

On Texas Football reporting that Arnold has informed OU that he isn’t playing again this year in order to redshirt and then transfer.

Seems odd to me that he still dresses for games if that is true.

Keeping up appearances. He's taking classes at the Casey Thompson School of Football Leadership.
