No. Bert is 0-3.

He'll go to aggy and they'll predict Heisman, then he'll be benched by Oct 1 and they'll go 7-5.

Absolutely no team that expects to be good next year will offer him the type of NIL deal he wants.

He may go to Miss State with Lebby but they're awful and he'll get pummeled there.

Once again.  We fucked up a chance to get points.   He hate field goals

Manning would get sacked 8 times in this game. Stop.

You mean the guy that can actually run?

Run the damn ball.

Tough call. It’s not like our back is averaging 15ypc.

Ewers just isn’t right.

also, I like the OL standing up for him.

Ewers is just off. And look we all know when he’s on he is amazing. But we are winning in spite of this, which is badass. So far.

Yup…..

You think those were guaranteed after the last kicking attempts?

It was a lot better chance than that 4th down play call.

He's afraid

I believe this is correct. He’s scared of being injured and is rushing everything to avoid getting hit.

Yea the wide open receivers are on Sark….  [emoji849]

I said what I said. A simple run would have scored

Quinn isn't the guy if we want to win a title this year. Sure, he will probably beat one of the worst OU teams in a long time. But he's not good right now

He did miss two weeks with an injury…

Absolutely ADD playcalling

He falls in love with the pass too much. Ex QBs always do…..

Quinn looks off today

That's because he is. Not surprised at all. He's done the same coming off injury in seasons past. Game rust plus hesitation. Fortunately, he's doing enough so far and our defense has played well.

Ewers is struggliing. Weak call on fourth for a struggling QB with happy feet
Sark was giving him shit on the sidelines. That wasn't what he wanted. There were good opportunities to get the first down and Ewers passed then up to try for a low percentage TD or PI.

Don't want to show Georgia anything. Chess.

The 3rd down throw was even worse. A 2 yard throw and it's an easy 1st down.

That should have been the signal to kick the FG rather than call another throw.

I'm pissed because there were two short tosses that had fucked as soon as they left Ewers hands.  These weren't long, against the body type throws.

We’re gonna have to wait a couple years like with Mack. I’m not happy about it, but that’s what it is

Bert’s been kicking like some kid from the stands trying to win scholarship money so I’m fine going for it.

Has Ewers even aired one out today?

They are keeping safeties deep.

2 minutes ago, WelfareBuysMyWeed said:

the call was good, he was open, quinn just missed bad. Looks like his abs are still bothering him greatly.

1.  I was kinda venting.  But Sark's track record re 4th down decisions isn't particularly good.

2.  If his oblique is still bothering him, then get him the hell off the field.

Got dam, Ewers is so afraid of contact. Everyone else came to play except Quinn.

That shoulda been a called rollout - run/pass option. Is sark afraid Ewers will get injured?

at least they have this kid.

So does Bert apparently

I get that OU offense is nonexistent, but we need more points.

If this shit goes on next week Sark has to pull him, it’s just way too inconsistent when he has games like this.

Yes. He holds the ball a lot.

That looked like an RPO, which is why Sark was mad when Ewers was coming off.

Defense might be our best chance of scoring at this point.  These guys are eating.

About time

soft coaching for QBs is not the way

grow the fuck up and make the damn plays

you think Sark soft coaches his QBs? Just because he doesn't go all Mike Ditka doesn't mean he soft coaches them.

I think it WAS a rollout RPO, it just got ran poorly

So accurate passes underneath…..doomed.

We are up so big that perhaps the coach puts one of our backups in ... maybe "save" Quinn for UGA?

Wingo looks uncatchable and Simmons looks unblockable

I just think at the end of the day all that matters is winning the game. And Ewers has had too many wtf games in 3 years and too many injuries. And he looks and is playing off. Reverting back to sloppy mechanics. And I like Ewers.

I am happy we are up right now, thank goodness.

not a QB controversy at all to me. But I think by the time Arch finishes up his time at Texas he will have surpassed peak Ewers. Jmo.

Hope Ewers gets back on the track he was on before the injury. Hook’em.
