Kid is a fucking pimp.

I'm extremely sorry that he didn't lead us to a 60-0 victory today but he looked like shit to start and did nothing since then but manage the game perfectly and take care of the football and hand OU a fucking ass-beating.

Hook 'em Horns. We ain't done yet.

I don't think anybody's mad at Quinn.

He just shouldn't have been out there if he's clearly not 100%.  That's all.

Well, he made a lot of mistakes and kept a rival in a game way longer than they should have been.  It's possible to talk about that and be frustrated, and even think he should be benched, without shitting on him.

I think people were more frustrated with Sark than with Quinn.

But whatever.  Big win over ou.  It's a good day.

Way longer? Like in the first 17 minutes?

This coulda been a route 66 in reverse. but it wasn't... but we have a lot of season left. Let's get after Georgia now. hook 'em!!

OU's whole gameplan was to stop Quinn. 3 man fronts. Dropping 8. We turned around and handed it off knowing full well they had no chance to beat us. Sark did what he was supposed to do. Easier game for Quinn next week.

Quinn’s a good dude. Definitely played with some questionable throws and head choices initially but it’s rare that anyone is asked to perform under pressure, shaking off rust in front of tens of thousands of fans with millions more watching on TV.
Hopefully he has a great week at practice and is ready to go next week.

I think it was a good game for Quinn to come back. Knock off rust. Get hit. Make mistakes. Bad throws.

Now he can hopefully come out sharp against jawja

Yeah.  They were in the game late into the second quarter, and they wouldn't have been with better quarterback play.  You did watch the game, right?

His performance deserved some criticism, and Sark deserved some for playing a guy who clearly wasn't 100%.

They're big boys.  They'll survive this abuse that they don't know about, I promise.

You sound soft.... : )

Quinn’s our guy this year. We roll with him. Ride or die.

But how ya’ll gonna feel when he announces he's coming back for another year?

Does he look ready for NFL?

Ponder that.

I guess it matters how we end this year

Ewers was going to cry himself to sleep tonight, but then he heard a message board poster started a thread letting the internet know to leave him alone.

How would people be frustrated with Sark because Ewers missed wide open receivers all day?  He changed his game plan to screens and flea flickers once he figured out he couldn’t trust his qb to throw the ball down field….  It’s one bad game hopefully he doesn’t do this next week but to blame anything offensively on Sark is just dumb.   If Quinn hits open receivers we win by 21 more points at least.

This.  OU got off easy.

He sucked ass.

So much so that Sark changed the offensive attack.

And if he sucks like that that next week, we get our asses beat.

He'll be better next week and we're going to be at home.

Georgia is in trouble.

We are the best team in the nation.

In fairness, the game thread is laden with posters calling for Quinn Ewers to be benched.

In a game we won by 31 points.

That's silly.

Arch is going to be a monster, but OU threw some looks at Ewers that confused him and our line. That's asking for turnovers with any freshman QB, Manning or no.

IMO, the game was never in doubt. OU was never going to score more than 10 without significant help from us. It took help from us to get their 3 points. Several more turnovers is the only thing that could have kept them in it.

Smart/Muschamp will have throw looks at us they haven't shown on film yet. We need Quinn's experience next week and we needed him to knock the rust off today. Quinn plays well in big games historically, he'll be ready.

Talk less shit about Quinn during a 34-3 ass-whipping and I won't start threads like this.

Savvy?

Savvy?

You've got me confused with someone else.

Savvy what?

Arch did well the last couple of weeks.

Quinn hasn’t played in a month.

Quinn is the starting qb but was rusty and today he needed the reps more than Arch.

We won by more than four touchdowns.

Get a grip. This should be a fun day. Celebrate.

We may play a tough Georgia team next week, but those poor bastards gotta play US!
