Sure, sure. Not saying it isn’t good, but again, I’m too cheap to waste a good buzz.

Eating makes me come way down, so that’s my logic.

Again? Wasn’t this reported a couple years ago as well?

Tried https://aretehemp.com/ to see it's process and product.  Seems like same price points and quality as Black Tie.  Discrete packaging and no smell with their double wrapping.  Even a hand signed thank you card inside the box.

Supreme OG had great flavor and high with pretty buds.

Would recommend all around.

I'm a big fan of Wylde brand, their peach 2 to 1 cbd-thc has been a godsend for my anxiety. I get minimal "buzz" from the thc but its super relaxing to me, best I can explain is that relaxed feeling you get after an hour long massage is how they make me feel. I eat 1 or 2 a day almost every day.

The boysenberry thc/cbd/cbn are great if you need help sleeping, their regular sativas/indicas and hybrids are great too

Those Boysenberry gummies aren't the best tasting, but they are pretty damn effective. Don't ever have one after brushing your teeth though. It's fucking foul.

Wasn't sure whether to put this in the Alcoholics thread or here...

Summer of 2022, the bloodwork on my annual physical showed really elevated liver enzymes, which was absolutely not a surprise given how much gin I drank for years.  PCP referred me to specialists, who diagnosed a fatty liver.  I quit drinking cold turkey, and a friend had recently told me that he had started using Delta-8, so I ordered some gummies and started taking one every evening.

Quitting booze was amazingly easy, and the gummies have made me sleep perfectly nearly every night, helped with back pain, and generally make me feel like what I had thought anti-depression drugs were supposed to make me feel like.  I also lost about 30 pounds...

Went back to the Texas Liver Institute last week and new tests showed "completely healthy liver" in the doctors' words.  Some of you probably understand this better than I do, but from what I understand, this test shows the level of liver fattiness, with 300 = 100% fatty, 200 = 0% fatty, and "anything under 230 is 'good'":

Doctor going over all of the tests with me kept using the words "amazing" and "phenomenal."

It is absolutely fucking ridiculous that alcohol is legal and cannabis is not.

BTW, these are the gummies I've settled on:

5 stars.  Joe Bob sez check 'em out.

I've kept up with this thread over time and don't remember it being talked about.  But has anyone else gone the medical route here in Texas?  It was pretty easy and reasonable with the requirements for PTSD/Anxiety.

I’ve been trying to get my sister to sign up, but so far no luck. She’s been doing the HTH route, which is better than nothing I guess.

PCP, Phencyclidine, Angel Dust? You seen what that stuff does to kids? You are looking at 3-5 mandatory, Louis.

Texas get your shit together; looking at banning all D8 & D9 products.

I could understand legalizing and regulating recreational marijuana so that it’s not available OTC in gas stations, sidewalk stalls, etc. But straight-up banning D8 and D9 is stupid. Which is why it’s exactly what this state full of morons will try to do.

Spoiler

Biden administration plans to reclassify marijuana, easing restrictions nationwide

WASHINGTON — The Biden administration will take a historic step toward easing federal restrictions on cannabis, with plans to announce an interim rule soon reclassifying the drug for the first time since the Controlled Substances Act was enacted more than 50 years ago, four sources with knowledge of the decision tell NBC News.

The Drug Enforcement Administration is expected to approve an opinion by the Department of Health and Human Services that marijuana should be reclassified from the most strict Schedule I to the less stringent Schedule III, marking the first time that the U.S. government would acknowledge its potential medical benefits and begin studying them in earnest.

Attorney General Merrick Garland will submit the rescheduling proposal to the White House Office of Management and Budget as early as Tuesday afternoon, a source familiar with the timeline told NBC News.

The Justice Department "continues to work on this rule," a Biden administration official said. "We have no further comment at this time."

What rescheduling means

Since 1971, marijuana has been in the same category as heroin, methamphetamines and LSD. Each substance under the Schedule I classification is defined as a drug with no accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Schedule III substances include Tylenol with codeine, steroids and testosterone.

By rescheduling cannabis, the drug would now be studied and researched to identify concrete medical benefits, opening the door for pharmaceutical companies to get involved with the sale and distribution of medical marijuana in states where it is legal.

For the $34 billion cannabis industry, the move would also eliminate significant tax burdens for businesses in states where the drug is legal, notably getting rid of the Internal Revenue Services code Section 280E which currently prohibits legal cannabis companies from deducting what would otherwise be ordinary business expenses.

The Department of Justice’s rescheduling decision could also help shrink the black market which has thrived despite legalization in states like New York and California and has undercut legal markets that are fiercely regulated and highly taxed.

just go pillage their room and steal theirs.

Can I get the skinny on hemp-derived delta 9 products? Yes I know, I should just get the real thing and leave all that other shit alone. I get it. But I live in Georgia which will probably be the last state to legalize it and I don’t want to find a weed guy.

I dabbled with D8 and did not like it. I didn’t like the high or how I felt the next day. Short experiment and I’m glad to leave that behind.

I buy real stuff when I travel but I mostly travel to Texas which is no help. So I end up running out.

I like the D9 seltzers I’ve had. Are they prone to the same shitty quality issues of D8, by-products, etc? Are the same sketchy solvent-based processes used to extract it? Or do you just need a shitload of .3% hemp and you can extract it clean?

Thanks potheads.
