October 14, 20241 yr Author big xii has 7 of the top 17 and 8 of the top 21…and yet the sec is actually projected (ever so slightly) to be the tougher league top to bottom. playing in the sec is going to be similar to the big xii, just with fewer trips to iowa, oklahoma, and kansas. upgrayedd. October 16, 20241 yr Serious question...how does he make these calculations before anyone plays any games?

October 17, 20241 yr Just now, ztejas said: We'll see how you behave this season. You know, I'm actually genuinely curious why you are the way you are. You consistently and very weirdly act like you have some sort of leverage or influence over how I post, despite that fact that the same exact interaction happens every time: I'm going to post exactly how I always have, and you're inevitably going to act like a toddler about it, which will cause me to simply laugh at/mock you and continue posting. You'd think you would have learned by now, but I guess that's hoping for too much. I understand that your brain only has one speed and it forces you to be an ultra aggro meathead about everything, but man I really hope things get better for you soon.

Seems odd to use the past 5 years results when coaches and players are so different Makes sense that they are basically meaningless until some real games get played

November 20, 20241 yr Author i remember when doing my research on RT’s coaching history that his teams historically really only had two things that identified them as being “rodney terry teams”: 1)they don’t defend the three (bad) 2)they don’t turn the ball over (good) so far this team has really exemplified both of these traits: 5th in the country in TO%, 240th defending the three. November 20, 20241 yr I expect (hope?) the 3-point defense metric to improve as the season progresses. As much lenf as Texas has on the perimeter, there's no excuse for it not to. Same for the steal rate. Our 'Horns have all the makings of a great defensive team. Against the one opponent with a pulse, however, they weren't very good. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

January 28Jan 28 Author 13 sec teams in kenpom’s top 44. 👀 i remember when the big xii had 8 teams in the top 60 and that was a huge deal. this is some whole other shit. this league is bar none the toughest league i ever remember seeing. previously, the last decade of the big xii and the best iterations of the big east were as good as i’d seen. this year’s sec is the best league top to bottom that i can recall. you can face a legit final four contender every game for a month straight. truly crazy.
January 28Jan 28 The bottom of the Big 12 is garbage - Colorado, KSU, OKST, ASU, Cincinnati. Cincy especially was early season fool's gold. The newcomers, besides Arizona, can't hang - Colorado, ASU, Utah suck. Kansas is 5th in the Big 12 right now. It's definitely a down year.
February 4Feb 4 Author weirdest #14 overall resume of all time: when’s the last time you saw a team that sucks at shooting twos, threes, and FTs and gets their shit blocked or stolen with alarming regularity and yes was 14th in kenpom because they own the glass? a&m will be a prime candidate for an early round upset. February 6Feb 6 SCAR, UGA, OU must wins. Find another W somewhere they make the dance. Find 2 more they get a decent seed.
February 25Feb 25 Author the type of teams expected to go ~.500 in the various conferences: SEC (+21.88) Big 10 (17.77) and Big XII (17.14) Big East (13.6) ACC (9.38) MWC (8.18) WCC (4.41) A 10 (3.71) C USA (2.40)
