October 15, 20241 yr Just watched the first two episodes of this new HBO show from Sam Mendez and Armando Iannucci. Not quite sure what to think yet. I think the second episode was better than the first but feels more Avenue 5 than Veep to this point. Anybody else on this?
October 16, 20241 yr I watched the first episode and don't have a lot of desire to continue. Feels very Avenue 5 ish, but not as good.

October 21, 20241 yr Author Each episode has gotten a little better though the comedy seems slightly forced. I do love me some Aya Cash, though. I like the use of Himesh Patel much better than Avenue 5. I'll probably see this one through to the end.
November 11, 20241 yr Author Guess I'm the only one still on this. It's gotten considerably better IMO. I understand it had nowhere to go but up.
November 11, 20241 yr We're an episode or two behind but find it entertaining............SAID NO ONE EVER!!!
December 9, 20241 yr Author Well, after waiting a few weeks for Episode 9, thanks to a little Googling it appears there is no Episode 9 for Season 1. It's over. Probably for good as I can't imagine they'll bring it back. It was a little uneven but I enjoyed it. Odd way to end it, IMO. Almost like the play clock just ran out and everybody shakes hands at midfield and walks to the locker room.

Entertaining enough show, but nothing remarkable or enduring.
December 21, 20241 yr Holy crap ... I must be the only one who finds it incredibly funny. Every line is chock full of droll references to things both within the script and outside the show. I find myself actually guffawing ... and I NEVER guffaw.
