yeah, judge just sucks. No one ever gets cold at the wrong moment.

There is another poster on here. You two must be a lot of fun. But I guess none of us will understand your insight or depth.

Judge has had a fantastic career to this point. He has had a couple of seasons where injuries were a concern, but he has gotten better as his career has progressed and he’s obviously the face of the organization.

He has to win a title though because if I have learned nothing else about the fans here it is they are not real forgiving if you don’t deliver a title. Having to live up to the Jeter era is not fair, but it is what it is. He has to start performing in October. I hope he does because he’s a real good guy by all accounts and he represents the city and organization very well. I hope he has a bounce back game tonight because the fans out there will give him the business if he doesn’t start hitting real soon.

  • LOL, how do you manage to consistently be so wrong?  Pitcher sprints for the bag regardless of who is batting.  Cole should have been going to the bag and Rizzo should have charged the ball more, both

  • Just to pile on helo - when i skimmed his slew of "i quit" and "this series is over" posts after game one, I was not aware he titled his 2024 Yankees thread, "Never Surrender."

I was being sarcastic. As a Red Sox fan I like him a lot. He is a good ambassador for the game. Damn that was hard to type.

And it sucks it is the way it is. So many greats never won a WS. (BTW, I would say  Jeter, Posada, B. Williams and Mariano also make the list of Yankees I would get a beer with.) I like those teams, hated the era.

Social media in yankee world is imploring the fans at tonight’s game to give Judge a standing ovation before his first AB. Like whatever team did that for that slumping player earlier this year. It’s fucking embarrassing. I can’t imagine that happening for a shitty player in the pre-snowflake era. I guarantee after he strikes out the boos will rightfully come down.

Desperately need to win today. I do want Judge to do well, I'm not giving up on him. Yankees in 7.

I'm not digging them up, but your ballwashing of Judge all season sure has taken a turn.

This is the astute, hard-hitting analysis we all come to Surly to find.

The Yankees would be well served to score more runs than L.A. and keep it that way through the end of the game. Will be a significant factor in determining the eventual winner.

He had the postseason to turn the narrative around. He hasn’t, and he never will. He’s a choke artist and us Yankee fans will treat him as such for the remainder of his time here in the bronx.

Yankees have been down 0-2 in the WS 9 times and have won it 4 of those times. That's pretty impressive. Dodgers were down 0-2 in 81 and swept the next 4. It ain't close to over.

Helo gonna Helo.

Hating Stephen A is fucking lazy. It's unoriginal, trite, blasé.

This is why he makes what he makes.

4:40 for the Judge rant which is all time.

Odom probably the most talented guy on the field tonight.       He should have started out with “How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore…”

what a terrible angle for the first pitch, after spending half an hour building it up. typical fox.

Fuck the Yankees, but the captain is alright in my book. Great first pitch.

Pretty sure Josh Bell told me he left

If everyone in the country outside of New York wasn’t already rooting for the Dodgers, they are now.  That was shit

That was so bad it made me turn the channel.

Way to let the guy with the bum shoulder not even have to take his bat off of it

It's that man again

So fat Joe is dog shit and why the East cost lost the rap war. And freeman is strwngthing his MVP case

The Fat Joe curse

Diabetes?

Freddie and Judge both doing their thing

Judge should go play TE or something

The Fat Joe curse
That implies they had a chance.

I mean if they don't want to win a WS the rest of my lifetime because Fat Joe curse I would be down with that.

Every single stadium in every sport still plays Mo Bamba

We played it once at UGA.  aggy ironically plays it on every defensive series.

That was a hell of a swing to fight that off and find paydirt

This is starting to smell a little sweepy.
