  • We fucking did it.  Fuck yes.  What a comeback.  What grit.  Demons exercised.  Fucking hell mother fucking yes.  Fuck yes.   We fucking did it.

  • LOL, how do you manage to consistently be so wrong?  Pitcher sprints for the bag regardless of who is batting.  Cole should have been going to the bag and Rizzo should have charged the ball more, both

  • Just to pile on helo - when i skimmed his slew of "i quit" and "this series is over" posts after game one, I was not aware he titled his 2024 Yankees thread, "Never Surrender."

Why take Buehler out?  76 pitches

Probably on a pitch count due to prior elbow injury/surgery.

Drink a tall ice cold glass of graterol.

Robert’s rarely lets a playoff pitcher go past 5.  I don’t always agree with it, but that’s his thing.  Dicey spot here.

Lol at jazz fouling that 93 mph meatball down the middle off his foot. What a joke this team is.

I saw social media buzzing about Teoscar’s amazing play. Look at the highlight and it’s just him throwing out Stanton doing a half-ass jog home by a mile.

How long has Dave South worked for the Yankees?

Sterling retired and came back apparently?

That’s the problem with bringing the 30th ranked ump into the series.

that was way high.

Biggest strikeout in Banda’s life by a mile.

All these completely non-competitive ABs the Yankees are throwing out there is making this WS pretty boring past game 1.

So much fight in this Yankees team

Now just hold their heads underwater until the life just slowly slips away from them.  So close.

Why bother when we can’t even swim.

Yankees took 24 four-seam fastballs for a strike tonight. 2nd most in a game for any team all season (Nationals, 27)

And can we end this foolishness with Betts at SS?  He’s such a great RF he should never play anywhere else.  Maybe move him around the OF as necessary, but enough of the multitool shit.

Give Walker his due.  He was getting left to right movement on that fastball.  A moving high 90s fastball has to be the hardest thing to hit in the world.

Dodgers D has been super solid too.  You don’t often think about the impact of fundamental defense, but it can make or break a series.  And we’re beating them on the D end too.  Really in all 3 phases, but damn, I am still so uncomfortable.  This bullpen bullshit since we don’t have a 4th starter makes me nervous.

Holy shit.

Japan, with about a third of the population of the US, has more people watching the World Series than the US does.

I really hated that 2 relievers were sent to the plate after Greinke’s PH single in game 5 of the 2021 World Series, the last game to have a pitcher take an AB in a World Series game. Greinke should have been the last

Yeah that’s been the case all playoffs.  Darvish v Shohei was off the charts.

Only Helobious, which doesn't really count as someone.  Especially not someone rational.

Its a crime the Astros choked and let them survive the ALCS however....

Hope Soto realizes be needs to take his talents elsewhere.

Has Cashman said who cheated them this time yet?

He'll need an analyst to tell him the numbers before he can have an opinion.
