  • We fucking did it.  Fuck yes.  What a comeback.  What grit.  Demons exercised.  Fucking hell mother fucking yes.  Fuck yes.   We fucking did it.

  • LOL, how do you manage to consistently be so wrong?  Pitcher sprints for the bag regardless of who is batting.  Cole should have been going to the bag and Rizzo should have charged the ball more, both

  • Just to pile on helo - when i skimmed his slew of "i quit" and "this series is over" posts after game one, I was not aware he titled his 2024 Yankees thread, "Never Surrender."

He needs Mr. Miyagi to do that hand thing on his shoulder.

So he'll effectively cancel out Judge's production going forward?

Go ahead run on 1st

Never in doubt

That seems to be more/less it for this series. Outside of Soto I think the rest of them just mailed it in after last night’s fireworks from Freeman.

Not really saying anything new, but Soto has to be frustrated at how Judge just cannot perform in the biggest moments, at all. Great regular season guy that does not possess the clutch gene.

I remember Bill James said one of his biggest regrets was making people believe there was no such thing as a clutch hitter, after years more of data came in and he saw that wasn’t exactly true. I don’t need years of data. You just watch Judge play and know he doesn’t have it. It’s no coincidence his only walk off homers and hits came in meaningless games in the summer. He’s just a choke artist and a shitty player, scared of the moment. Truly a loser in baseball and in life. Hope he gets booed mercilessly on tuesday.

Shoulder subluxation.  May not be done just yet.

And he’s back ladies and gentlemen!

This is great. Viinys call if Gibson's dinger overlayed on Freddie's shot last night.

Lol, Judge and Ohtani are a combined 2-17. What a dud for the MLB

Edman with 5 straight multi hit games.  The difference between these teams is if our big 3 don’t carry the load, the rest of the lineup can.  With the Yanks, if their top 3 don’t deliver, they’re fucked.

See above.

Ok so hear me out.  Shohei misses the rest of the series.  Until the bottom of the 9th in game 7 with 2 out and one on.  They bring in a right hander.  Doc looks to the dugout.  “You think he can do it.” he asks.  Shohei comes to the plate…

And I thought houston fans were bad about jumping on/off bandwagon 1b3baeae820d53bf019b86a6bb6db28e.jpg7a93886893d7acfe027a80af51cc43ec.jpg

He has a subluxation.

We’ve been doing this without him so far.  If we have to for 2 more wins, it think we can.

Better that than out in the parking lot trying to Maine/kill opposing fans.

D’oh!

No depth in the Yanks lineup, at all. Judge with his usual playoff no-show makes it real hard to win games. Soto and, I can’t believe I am saying this, Stanton will have to carry this team if they want to at least win a couple of games in this series. I expect Soto to show up in The Bronx because he just plays well the bigger the game is. That homer last night was basically giving the middle finger to the umpire for calling strikes that clearly were not. He sees the ball better than anyone not named Frank Thomas. He has that rare eyesight and ability to concentrate like The Big Hurt had. He was still chirping at the ump even after rounding the bases.

The Dodgers lineup is just too much to deal with. Just a fun group to watch honestly. Well not so much fun for everyone here, but you know what I mean.

This freaking blows. RIP Yankees. Going to be an absolute pain to dig out of this, if we even can. Game 2 almost hurt more than Game 1 because at least we had hunger in our eyes. Game 2 was just completely mailed in. So sad to see this happen and also watch Judge's legacy go down the tube.

yeah, judge just sucks. No one ever gets cold at the wrong moment.

There is another poster on here. You two must be a lot of fun. But I guess none of us will understand your insight or depth.

Not sure I buy it but

Money talks and if the price is right I am not certain he would say no. Hal is not like his old man. He cares more about the bottom line than winning. It’s his money so he can do as he pleases, but man if he gets outbid by LA for Soto, well, I would not want to be him having to deal with the fans here.
