i am going to need to see quinn ewers do something competent in the context of the game of football again before i am willing to get back to any optimism for the texas offense. i am not even asking for michigan quinn...i would take last year's second half of the season quinn.

i have seen him play excellent qb. i know it is possible.

i have also seen the 22 tcu quinn, 22 okie state quinn, 22 baylor quinn, 23 wyoming quinn, Q1 23 oklahoma quinn, 24 oklahoma quinn, and 24 georgia quinn.

his inconsistent nature is really hurting us right now.

come on dude, get it together and go kick some ass. time to give the defense some help.

Yeah.  I don't know who is going to show up at QB.  You also forgot the Jan 24 Washington Quinn, his worst game last year.

So it could be UT 24 Vandy 20, or UT 52 Vandy 10.

Can't wait to start the game with a false start and a hold, that'll really settle everyone down & let them know it's business as usual.

UT: 30

Vandy: 15

Pass Yards: 311

Texas wins. Vandy covers.

This is where I am... we win, but not a slaughter.

Texas - 269 passing yards

I know it's been rough recently, but surely we'll score more than negative 35 points.

Texas defense holds Vandy to 3 field goals through most of the game, but those drives are slogs that eat clock.

Late TD by Pavia to make it look close, Texas recovers the onside kick, takes three knees, on to the bye week.

Texas 24

Vandy 16

Passing yards 213

Ewers is spiraling, RB room is a dumpster fire, our best WR is out...

UT 24 Vandy 23

184 passing yards

Ewers spinning spirals, RB room runs with hair on fire, our best WR (Wingo) has a big day.

UT 42

Vandy 9.

I don’t care how many yards. Some. Lots. Idk

You haven’t seen VERY bad Quinn yet.

Ewers starts off slow, Vandy keeps it close for 2 and 1/2 quarters and this forum melts down, then Texas pulls away late

35-17

Rushing for 1000 to score that much? Or just 10+ defense/special teams TDs?

Rece sure enjoys bringing up negative stats regarding Texas -- brought up our UH game last year (39min mark).  He also had a similar tone last week.

Texas vs vandy 33:21 mark

They all pick Texas win, but vandy covers +18

Texas runs the ball. It opens up the pass for Quinn, takes some pressure off. He misses a couple of long throws, makes a couple. Better on intermediate, but it's the run game that wins the day. So Quinn escapes to QB another day. Leaves us to worry about upcoming games, especially Aggy,

Texas 35-17.
