  • Rewatching the game now.  -I know it infuriates @BurntOrange&White but Michael Taaffe is going to play in the NFL. -We probably lost about 50 rushing yards due to stupid holding penaltie

  • That hold on Helm was bogus.

  • Say what you will about yesterday's win. But that was the fourth road win in a row against ranked teams. Hook "em baby.

We didn’t make the schedule, hope that helps!

Jelani McDonald is going to be a dude. It’s nice to finally have a talented and coherent secondary. No more Jerrin Thompson and Kitan Crawford running around aimlessly.

We’re 3-1 in the SEC. As stated.

Fucking weird game. Just did everything we could to minimize our own success.  Between penalties, sacks and tip drill interceptions at the most inopportune times we made it way harder than it had to be.  Frustrating.

Nailed it.  You said it a lot nicer than I could.

imagine if we weren't missing two quality starters

I no longer trust this team with a bye week for Halloween. CORNTINE all of ‘em

True, but we'll certainly learn how this team shows up with a lot on the line. Every single remaining team on the schedule could beat Texas if they play poorly.

Florida is playing much better after looking terrible early on. Arkansas is 5-3 and it'll be all-out jihad in Fayettenam. Kentucky got closer to beating UGA than Texas did. A&M isn't terrible and it'll be wild in College Station.

My apologies if I currently don't have much faith in our team, specifically the head coach, OL, and starting QB not to shit themselves down the stretch.

To be fair, Texas made 1/3 of the schedule haha.

So the lack of downfield passes - that’s not the playcall but Quinn bailing and checking down into the flat over and over and over and over right?

Did someone get hurt for Black to be in there at the end?

I literally had to walk away from the tv for most of the 4th and went for a walk around the neighborhood.  One of the most frustrating games I have watched Texas play in 30 years

Reminded me of the Sugar Bowl against Georgia.  We had that game won and just needed it to end 28-14.  Two targeting penalties in the last two minutes made their final drive last about 30 minutes.

Send ‘em to Nebraska?

Haven’t read earlier part of thread but does anyone have any explanations for OL issues? Also I know Ewers is not mobile but call a couple of roll outs.

Conference? Dang we do already run this shit. Don’t tell aggy.

Not having rewatched but of the four sacks, one was on Blue not picking up the blitz and two were on RPOs where the ball has to come out quick but Quinn didn’t get rid of it

I think they try to be too cute with formations and motion.  Only takes one mental mistake and a defender is wrecking shit or being held to prevent it.

We have the athletes.  We shouldn’t need all of the window dressing to be successful.

The OL has issues but teams are also bringing pressure.

The fact we aren't turning that into more boom or bust scenarios is more problematic than the actual sacks IMO. Giving up a few sacks is fine if you're also torching the defense downfield. That isn't happening.

Sark looks shell shocked. He and Quinn both look surprised and befuddled in games so often. It’s seriously concerning.

He sucks as a head coach. Plain and simple. He’s usually pretty good handling the offensive side of the ball, but he will fuck that up too.

I want to give him slack and say it’s because he’s dealing with a head case in real time and under pressure. Maybe that’s me just wish casting?

ALL GAS, MY ASS!!!

What a fucking abortion of an offense.

A 2 yard pass on 3rd and 8 is a very low probability throw. Quit doing that shit.

Calling a running play parallel to, and 4 yards behind, the LOS works maybe 1 time a game. You can’t start 2 and 12 half of the time if you aren’t even going to throw the ball 10 yards downfield.

I like that our WR’s are good blockers, but they are better receivers. It would be nice to throw to them down the field sometime.

How many passes did QE throw 15 yards past the line of scrimmage? Most of QE long throws were not close enough for the receiver to touch, much less catch. Best WR room in the country and we can’t get a pass to them.

Texas can win with QE if we start fast and get a big lead. QE does not have the “it” to lead Texas in a come from behind, 2 minute dill.

Quinn started 18 for 19 for ~ 211 yds. He ended up going 27 of 37 for 288 yds, meaning he finished 9 of 18 for 77 yards, or a little over 4 yards per attempt. That’s some Mendoza Line kind of production.

6 points in the 2nd half? Boo!

Hahahahaha. Gold.

Sorry boss. He fucks up constantly with head coaching duties. He’s bad at clock management, makes some brain dead personnel decisions. I’m not a fan of his game day head coaching.

Problem with Sark is he doesn’t adjust well when the gameplan is ruined. Like if there’s a wreck on 35, he’ll continue to sit in traffic and hope traffic clears up instead of taking 130. Or he’ll take Mopac and still be fucked, lol.

To a team that beat Alabama, who beat Georgia, who beat us. The Circle of Suck is now complete.

we are a fucking clownshow on offense.

The pride and winning tradition of the University of Texas will not be entrusted to the weak or the timid

And yet, Quinn Ewers remains our QB.

10 fucking penalties for more than 100 yards.  Just way too sloppy all game.

Sark's interview makes me ill.  Apparently we played pretty well.  ["rolls eyes*]

it is like this under every coach we have no matter how good or bad our team is.  the refs are fucking us over constantly.

We laugh at the coaches that throw the players under the bus and also at the ones who coach speech. I really have no idea what fans expect.

The short, west coast passing game is becoming too predictable. They are not making teams pay for sitting on all the shallow routes.

Until Ewers shows he can beat defenses downfield or at least on medium depths throws, it’s going to be tough to move the ball against good defenses.

I bailed at the Vandy TD in the 3rd.  Went and hung out with the cat and cleaned the kitchen.  Didn't get the least but upset last week as I considered GA to be as good or better than TX.  Today, not so much.

I left to take my kids to a Halloween party in the 3rd. Valvoline game changing moment.

omfg holding. are we the only team that holds? wtf is happening

yes we are, apprently.  someone is going to have to make a statement on this and PI or this shit will keep on happening.

my opinion is after we made the shittty high school SEC refs look like morons last game they were looking to make a point.  fuck them and fuck this conference.

We always have a great week of practice if you ask the $9.95 crew

how the fuck is there a holding every fucking big play for us????????

because it is an easy way to fuck over Texas.  looks like a big play, just call holding or PI.

Man fuck all that we this game shouldn’t have been close, holding should never have mattered. Idk what is going on with Quinn but this is getting ridiculous. He has no pocket awarenss.
like where is the guy that would take off running?? Is he scared to mess up his career?? Shid the way he’s playing g he won’t have to worry about that

It's called Sark realizes unlike a lot of you dolts that the team today had a lot bigger problems than QE.
