February 20Feb 20 I’m excited about ABS coming to spring training. everyone (fans at least) are going to be pissed they aren’t rolling it out for the regular season.

February 20Feb 20 I’m a purist in most respects. I despise the DH and hate replay in most instances across sports. And I’m very much in favor of ABS 2 hours ago, thunderlounge said: I’m for it, but not a fan of it being used through challenges. Use it or don’t. Very much this ☝️
February 20Feb 20 They had the 1st challenge in the game today and the call was changed. Agree that it should be all the time.
February 20Feb 20 Red Sox Slugger Weighs In On Rafael Devers Controversy - Newsweek Casas has a long history of being outspoken, with his eccentric personality sometimes garnering as much publicity as his slugging ability. The 25-year-old did not mince words when it came to his opinion of his teammate. "I think he's the best third baseman in the league. I wouldn't take anybody over him," Casas went on to say. "I think Bregman should play second (base)." It is worth mentioning that since entering the majors in 2017, Rafael Devers ranks 103rd out of 103 third basemen in terms of Defensive Runs Saved with minus-62 (minimum 750 innings), racking up minus-9 DRS last season.

It’s not special to play for any other teams, they’re very individualistic, and things like appearance and personal conduct on/off the field mean nothing to them. The Yankees have always represented class and doing things the right way, so no facial hair, and no names on the jerseys fits the team well. Helo, once again, is right on top of things.
February 21Feb 21 That was shocking to read this morning. Complete slap in the face to over 100 years of yankee lineage. Guess all the kids that look up to the players now know it’s ok to not give a shit about your appearance and how you carry yourself.

If using a full ABS system gets us there, I'm more than willing to put up with the rare 17-2 bottom of the ninth scenario, if it gets rid of all the bullshit blown calls when the games are close.

I largely agree, but removing the incentive for catchers to receive the ball properly will have huge ramifications. Good luck stealing a base. Does it kill the defensive catcher?

February 28Feb 28 Between that and this the Rockies are the worst team with the best "celebrations"https://x.com/MiLB/status/1894581703831588872?t=AG5jD8dp_P782sVyqYB04A&s=19
February 28Feb 28 Author Here's all that needs to be said about how hard the Rockies are trying. They lost their RSN, and last year it was replaced in my channel lineup by something called Rockies.TV. Between the end of last season and the start of ST, I could flip on the channel 24/7 and see this: 20250222_185431.mp4
