November 5, 20241 yr I loathe NFL OT rules. Both teams should get a chance with the ball and then sudden death. I don’t like college either(only because they start OT at the 25 yard line…move that to the 45 so you have to at least pick up a first down for a legit FG shot). But at least both teams have a chance. And stop with the “defense should when gotten a stop” crap too

November 5, 20241 yr The Chiefs playing the shittiest division in the whole entire NFL. them being 7-1 versus 8-0means nothing. It is far more important for Tampa to be 5-4 than 4-5 at this point. Purely talking about entertainment value. Kansas City is not very interesting at this point. Tampa Bay with Baker Mayfield is.

I don't know if you could be more wrong even if you tried. Tampa and Mayfield are not ratings grabbers, KC is. Tampa is not a threat to make the Super Bowl, KC obviously is. Casuals do not give damn about Baker Mayfield, they will tune in for KC and Mahomes and Kelce. On the large scale, Tampa has no entertainment value.
November 5, 20241 yr Bowles lost that game. Go for 2 for the win. They had zero chance to beat kc in OT on the road on Monday night. They’re lucky Mahomes didn’t get a fg at the end; they left Mahomes time with three os.

Kansas City arguably has had the most difficult schedule at 8-0 while ONLY playing 2 AFC West opponents, at LA and at Vegas. Their balance of season has them playing at Buffalo, Carolina, & Pittsburgh, hosting the Texans, and playing their Division games. What impresses you about other slates so far? November 5, 20241 yr NFL fans bitch about the Chiefs getting calls, just like they used to say the NFL cheated and gave New England calls. I never thought it was true or that one call here or there would make a difference, but I’m reconsidering my position. I like the Chiefs, but there has been something horseshit in their favor in nearly every game this season. This week it was a pointless replay review for like 5 minutes that took Tampa’s O out of rhythm and gave KC’s defense a breather; then a clear false start on KC RT on penultimate play of OT. Why does the NFL need KC to win every week? They are going to be a high seed in the playoffs regardless.
