Blame Tapa? Sure.... User just sniffing the anti-freeze.

It's Nov 1 in Boston Metro. I have my windows wide open for a nice 75-80 degree day.

Is that a tractor console?

2013 Ford Edge that’s been rode hard and put away wet

I thought those were mowing instructions on the console. Hey Farmer Fred, mow straight.

For a second, I thought this said "Non-Winter Texas Thread" and that actually made sense.

We hosted a party yesterday inside and outside (smoked 2 briskets and fried a turkey). The temp topped off upper 50s. Overnight it dipped to below freezing today upper 40s. Another night of near freezing cold.

I fly to Austin tomorrow and am taking shorts.

I want it to get real cold so I can ride bike in the real cold.  Only redeemable part of winter.

It is raining like hell in EPTX.  Quite a Texas Turdfloater.  AKA 'winter.'

We're having one of the mildest starts to winter I can remember.  Already into November and we haven't been below zero yet.  Temps have been in the single digits to lower 40's.  Only about 6 total inches of snow.  I'm sure the hammer will drop soon.

So we’re back from Texas and the heat (seriously near 90 in Dripping Springs yesterday). Kind of mild here, low 40s now with a high just over 50 for today. We left last week during the artic chill though. The Friday before Christmas gave us a small amount of snow, 2-3” out in Winchester. Boston proper saw around 6” depending on where you were. And the temp plunged after that came through. The day we left (Sunday) it was around 15 when we flew out. Absolutely bitter cold that morning. Sub zero mist our mountain place, but we haven’t been there since early December. We plan to head back this weekend.

We’ve had Thundersnow for the last 30 minutes. 4-6” of snow so far but 35 mph sustained winds are drifting us in. How’s things up north @Al_4_ISU?

That's pretty gnarly. Hope you have some back up heat if the power goes out.

ISU can speak for himself, but my guess is that Northern Iowa is going to be largely spared from the precipitation.  I'm a little further North and it's cold but calm.  4 degrees now with a high of 12.  No big deal

The handle you see in the foreground is my generator. I can unplug my furnace from the wall and plug it into the generator in less than a few minutes.
