We should be playing a great OOC game every year and not shy away from the SEC going to 9 games and LOVE GOING TO THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. If we play 5 marquee games before the playoffs even start it’s still easier to get in with 2-3 losses. Let’s lead college football away from being pussies and go beat the best teams in the country. It’s a spring board. If we are worth a fuck, we should want to go test it and prove it. What starts here changes the world

If that's what you want, great I guess. 17 minutes ago, TrashMaster G said: Not being pussies. Cool. Ask the CFP if they give 2 shits.

Two of the most tradition rich college football programs of all time playing a home and home in two of the top college football stadiums is the problem and is going to lead straight to NFL-lite. To keep up college football tradition, we must play Louisiana Monroe at home both years.

We aren't going to start scheduling FCS cupcakes, so fuck off if that is what you are suggesting. Our M.O. is to schedule a matchup with a major program and I don't see us stopping that and watering down our OOC schedule to be driven by what is most advantageous for Playoff purposes. And I'm good with that.

Part of it is, and I know this sounds crazy, having fun. Great away trips. Big memories in grand, historic stadiums. Seeing Chicago with the family and tailgating in front of Touchdown Jesus. Hearing Notre Dame Stadium go quiet on national TV. And we'll still probably make the Playoff anyway. Edited November 21, 20241 yr by texifornia

Ask the CFP if they give 2 shits. it’s still college football, it’s just college football with a real playoff The CFP committee is bullshit, they will screw over little teams to get us in if we are worthy. The big name and big $ teams will always get the benefit of doubt. We are actually going to be if it from the committee not caring so much about losses and caring more about getting the best teams in period.
