Democrats trying to intellectually debate economy is a failed strategy. Keep it simple as fuck and the message just can’t be 3 months long. Shape narratives by attacking opponent. Nobody gives a fuck about policy details. Democrats lost to a party that said Haitians were eating dogs and turned it into a meme song when there was blow back. Republicans are just fucking better at shaping a narrative and flipping negative narratives.

i mean...yeah. obviously.

Everyone is @fattyflattie now huh?  He was just ahead of the curve.

My current working theory is they are a bunch of spoon fed toddlers who have never had to make their own way in the world.  It’s a rough draft but seems to sync pretty well with the tantrums and fine I’ll take my ball and go home posts that keep popping up.

Did democrats completely sweep 2020? When exactly is the last time they had all 3 branches?

Joe Biden had a unified government from 2020 to 2022.

Manchin wasn’t independent at that point?

There are lots of fine people on both sides. Some of the posters here from the left, despite their performative political rhetoric, are probably among the best examples of humanity you or I will ever meet. Likewise, some of the posters here from the right. The CR is just an encapsulation of hte American political climate. It is childish, fails self-reflection, and steeped in misinformation. Hell of a system we have here. And none of it will change, until we have a major political restructuring. This is the inevitability of the two party system in the modern world. And it is only getting worse.

I haven’t been in this thread but has anyone address the total voting numbers?

In 2020 (during Covid) Biden had 81 million votes and Trump had 74 million.

In 2024 Harris has 70 million votes and Trump has 74 million.

Where did 11 million democrats go? Or how did 11 million extra democrats vote in 2020?

My brother in Christ, you're not supposed to eat the lead paint chips.

I want to say he was sabotaged but yeah you are right, he did not really fight for us, just negotiated for us a few bills that took months and months to do, and boom GOP got congress.

Biden will forever shamed for giving us Trump, I hate that man so much now.

From the side whose people were furiously googling to check if Biden was still running for president, think Covid kills 25 percent of those infected, and think police kill thousand of unarmed blacks per year.

Yale psychiatrist Amanda Calhoun, a medical doctor and mental health expert, advises MSNBC viewers to break off ties with family members who voted for Trump and refuse to see them on the holidays

That's healthy advice from a mental health professional. "Hey doc, I'm losing it because I didn't get my way, what should I do? Meditation, exercise, talk to someone?"

Demented Psych lady: "those aren't healthy. You need to abandon your entire family (support system) and throw a huge fvcking tantrum... Like an adult"

Of course she went to Yale   Ivy Leagues are infested with poison ideology

Yeah, this rock is about survival of the fittest and people who can’t mentally come to terms with one man because the media told them to is weighing the rest of the population down. People like that seriously should be quarantined. They don’t need interacting with the rest of the populace. It’s a sickness that they are incapable of overcoming and do not need to spread.

This is why I worry about our mental health problem, most of the doctors/psychiatrists/social workers "treating it" are often as bat shit crazy as their patients.

The context of that clip is LGTBQ folks who just spent the whole election cycle being advertised against as the next "enemy within". I don't think going to the people who want to put them in camps is a good healthy decision for them

Sadly, the actual dumbest people are the people running the Democratic party

Quote

“There was a calculation among Democrats after 2020 that Trump was disqualified and wouldn’t be back,” Democratic data analyst Tom Bonier told me. “That evolved into a calculation that he would be disqualified by his legal troubles and could end up in jail. Democrats undeniably failed to disqualify him. The result was that by the time the Harris campaign started, it was too late.”

If Trump has half a brain, he'll never actually do anything to oppress these morons because they're the fucking Washington Generals of politics.

That’s a damn lie.  Listen to it.  She’s  also talking about women offended that someone called Harris a bitch or Puerto Ricans offended by the comedian.  Or anyone else who “voted against their rights”.

Lol. No this is evidence of media manipulation to paint these voters as dumb and uniformed.   It is propaganda and it works. It was created to make their base feel better about themselves and imply the opposition is stupid.

Is violent crime up under Biden? (“All time high is added to get the result desired)

Yes

Biden’s inflation average over 4 years was over 5% against Trump’s 1.9% (over the last year, not last 4 years)

Biden’s 4 year term saw record number of illegal crossings. (Over the last few months before an election-lol)

The avg American thinks groceries cost too much when they are $20 more than they were before inflation sky rocketed. Vibes don’t equal reality.

Do you honestly believe this?

The mass majority of Americans don’t.

Dude’s gonna be in for a rude awakening when he finds out prices ain’t going back to 2021

Imagine his shock when they don’t even get to 80% of today’s levels.

Folks like me are gonna reap the benefits of the new administrations tax cuts. We can easily survive the high prices and our lifestyle isn’t changing one bit. Our portfolios vastly outpace inflation.

That dude on the other hand is going to be in a world of hurt.

I have never minded paying taxes to help those that are most vulnerable and in need. I guess that dudes on his own now, good luck.
