Even through the early 80s for some reason most football coaches thought of water as either bad for you or as a reward. You'd sweat out whatever fluids you had in your system in the first half of practice and none of us were particularly big on hydration back then. Then you'd get to suck lukewarm water through a garden hose and PVC pipe contraption designed and built by a group of PE majors for maybe 5 seconds if you had a good first half of practice. Then there was the second half
November 8, 20241 yr Just dropped into the Florida Rivals board…they are down and out and predicting us to roll. 99% of them.
November 8, 20241 yr Saw a couple groups of Florida fans at the airport. Wondering what turnout will be from them.

November 9, 20241 yr Saw a couple groups of Florida fans at the airport. Wondering what turnout will be from them.I saw a bunch on Rainey street and east Austin today. Spoke to a few about DJ. Most said was he is the future and hope he doesn’t play and risk further damage. Nice people enjoying the weather today…. accepting of their fate tomorrow.

Lagway will 100% not play. Napier does not rush anyone back from injury, and on top of that there’s a 99% chance Lagway never suits up for the gators again. It’s no secret he’s leaving that dumpster fire for the highest bidder. Their freshman RB Baugh is a damn good player, but with no threat at QB this will be an ugly game. The gators have an improved defense of late but they’ll get gassed. I’m predicting 38-0 Texas.

In the past week their star QB got hurt, they found out their terrible head coach is coming back next year, and that their promising young basketball coach is being investigated for being a creepy stalker/sexual predator. Their spirits are broken. I hope it’s a close and competitive game for their sake.
November 9, 20241 yr Grade 2 sprain means on a macro level that part of the tendon is torn in 2. Either (a) he was never going to play, (2) he was going to fail miserably and worsen his injury, or (d) the MRI report that was in the wind was false. 15 minutes ago, SimkinsMan said: Lagway talk was smoke all along, it seems.
November 9, 20241 yr It was all BS. He was never gonna play. Napier has a mulligan - injury to your 2 QBs and job security now.

No way the Texas staff actually prepared much for Lagway. This type of injury can only get worse with much more than active recovery. But, you know even more than me in this case.

Texas would get close to 30 at home against FSU. They've lost by 3+ scores on the road against SMU and Miami - they lost by 15 at home to BC and by fucking 23 at home to a shitass UNC team. They're getting 24.5 on the road in South Bend today. They are bad, bad, bad.

This is peak doctor communication -- not a criticism, just an amusing observation. Your list consists of: (a) (2) (d) I congratulate you on developing a unique taxonomy for list-making. It's glorious.
November 9, 20241 yr The lagway rumors have done enough to move the spread from Texas -21.5 to Texas (checks notes) -22.0.

November 9, 20241 yr WTF is he doing? Wisner just took 4 points off the fucking board..... What a fucking stupid ass play to rob Texas of the opening drive momentum. And it cost a timeout too. This team's football IQ is also what's holding them back. This isn't HS, Wisner.
