Will be amazing if he goes until he literally drops. Once he is finished, can another Democrat take the floor?

Would be nice if he could break shit-head Strom Thurmond's near 25-hour filibuster in protest of the Civil Rights Bill. Doesn't mean anything really but it's embarrassing that's the longest filibuster speech of all time.

Members of President Donald Trump’s National Security Council, including White House national security adviser Michael Waltz, have conducted government business over personal Gmail accounts, according to documents reviewed by The Washington Post and interviews with three U.S. officials.

The use of Gmail, a far less secure method of communication than the encrypted messaging app Signal, is the latest example of questionable data security practices by top national security officials already under fire for the mistaken inclusion of a journalist in a group chat about high-level planning for military operations in Yemen.

A senior Waltz aide used the commercial email service for highly technical conversations with colleagues at other government agencies involving sensitive military positions and powerful weapons systems relating to an ongoing conflict, according to emails reviewed by The Post. While the NSC official used his Gmail account, his interagency colleagues used government-issued accounts, headers from the email correspondence show.

Why bother setting up back channels with the Russians? This seems like an easier way to be a traitor and it has deniability as a component.

So, who all is leaking to the press that Waltz has used GMail?

The Deep State must want this fucker gone.

I’m sure that’s the entire point of this…to break the record and let historians know how fucking stupid this timeline was.

Fucking insane that I’m having to consult an immigration lawyer acquaintance and consider postponing a trip to visit my wife’s family in Brazil because she’s a green card holder. Although her getting stuck there and forcing my hand to move to Rio may not be the worst thing. I hate this fucker.

One of my closest friends is a green card holder. We were with him and his wife, who is a citizen, on Friday night and this topic came up. They’re legit concerned that something fucky could happen at this point. It’s not something that’s ever even crossed his mind in the past. Hell, when we were in HS and college we would bounce back and forth across the border to go drinking and never give it a second thought. In his favor, he’s pretty white looking and doesn’t have a Hispanic surname.

And when asked at his hearing who was Stew Peters, he said he didn't know.  As Wittes documented, Patel, among other things, is a liar.

I was worried about the same thing traveling internationally this summer, but luckily my wife got approved for citizenship last week. Ceremony is next week. Wish I was more proud of her becoming a citizen, but given the state of things it was more of a box to check. I think her mother is afraid of coming here to visit this year.

I have a friend on green card that was supposed to fly to the UK for work this past Sunday and he canceled his flight and sent an American citizen to give his presentation.

This is also affecting my work, as some clients, who require a visa to visit us, can't get an appointment with the consulate for 6 months. This means we can't kickoff the contract with them until late this year and guarantees that we don't get the badly needed revenue from them until next year.

I wouldn’t leave the country as a green card holder. To the GOP, your wife doesn’t belong here. It’s a much lower bar for them to ban non-citizens from coming back into the country as opposed to attempting to kick them out. They can even spin it as a reevaluation of her immigration status especially if she’s had any issues even as simple as a speeding ticket. That makes her a criminal in their eyes.

and don’t think for a second that someone in the WH isn’t thinking this. His name rhymes with Stephen Miller.

Any chance that was just composed in the last decade?

I had a young engineer from India on my team for whom I did a great deal of work in getting him a permanent visa.  I don't know where he is now, but I'm concerned, because rules don't matter.

They called FL House seat 6 for the republican, Randy Fine.  This is a deep red district.  I'm guessing the margin is much closer than Trump's win in the district. No results in from the other elections yet.

That is disappointing. Weil’s ads were phenomenal

It's deep red.  Oddly, the election is too soon into his term to really hurt them yet.  A year from now, this might have been a winnable race.  But as of now, Social Security cuts haven't happened yet.  Tariffs haven't been fully implemented.  We have only seen the tip of the iceberg we're about to hit.  Many of them still think Trump's only going to hurt the libs.  It will be too late when they figure it out.

And Booker is done. Wow.

Almost 30 percent of Republicans believe the EU is an enemy and about a quarter believe the same about Canada.  This is, needless to say, an insane and stupid belief that very few people thought to have until Trump blurted it out.

Yea. It’s looking like a pass for now. Especially because her Brazilian passport is still in her previous last name while her GC is under mine. Already got a little flack for that coming back from Japan under the other admin. She has no legal issues here but don’t want to give them an inch.

Trump gonna try to beat it at next year's SOTU

More likely that Trump will just lie and claim by the end of next week that he gave a 57 hour speech to a private audience consisting of the couch fucker, Elon, his cabinet, Laura Loomer, Kid Rock, and Conor McGregor. They will all lie in support of him and it will be like every time he wins a golf tourney at his own course. Trump will then proclaim himself the greatest speaker of all time.

And then a strange administrative error will land Cory Booker in an El Salvador prison with everyone claiming they can’t get him back.
