The Onion does it again. Can you imagine leading an assault with a soldier named Leslie? Lives will be lost!

If the dotard is still kicking in 2028 and is scheduled to deliver the commencement for my son's graduation; I will be very tempted to give it a pass.  I don't need to be put in a situation that might land my ass in jail.  Fuck that guy for possibly taking away one of the greatest moments of my son's life and what would otherwise be one of the proudest moments of my life.

I seriously hate that fat fuck so much.

You love your son more than you hate the POTUS.  That day is one of the greatest days I've ever had as a dad. Don't let dipshit take that from you...or your son.  The day is way the hell bigger than the speaker.
Go Army!!!

We lucked out and got Pence. 🤠

Why does the MAGA hat at West Point piss me off so much? I obviously know he’s an anti-America, self promoting piece of shit but seeing that made my BP jump.

It has no place there and cheapens a very honorable and meaningful day for those in attendance.

The fact that the military hasn’t turned on this piece of shit is maybe the most concerning thing. He shirsnon them makes it about himself and they still follow. Un fucking believable.

Besides the real threat of being executed; some have pushed back on Trump.

Pence is a prime example, but he's hardly alone.  If you are suggesting sacking a sitting President by the military, nah, that wouldn't turn out how you think it would.

Also @Fudge Nuggets

From Service Academy Forums: The rumor I heard from my cadet is that USMA and CGA are swapping in the Presidents rotation this one time. This year a significant year for Army (maybe 250th Army anniversary) and next year is USCGA 150th anniversary.

So USCGA-2026
USAFA or USNA in-2027 and then 2028.

But can’t the judicial just declare it unconstitutional?

if not, why don’t they cut to the chase and outlaw scotus and assign potus as final arbiter of all things?

Kinda like  . . . most of the shit we already make.

The truth probably is that with a little tweaking, our trade balances are about right.  Most of the shit we import we don't want to make (textiles, cheap shit) or can't make (champagne, bordeaux, minerals and ores we don't have).

It would have been nice if offshoring of manufacturing had happened a bit more slowly and with a bit more thought.  But that cat's out of the bag and we ain't getting it back in, except for some selected industries with national security implications.

This seems to be an actual phenomenon, a lot of which seems to be the result of pushing a lot of basic scientific research from corporations to academia.  Academia, of course, emphasizes publication over the actual value of the research.

There are no more Bell Labs inventing the transistor.  That company turned into a shareholder driven clusterfuck called Lucent.  Can you imagine all those dipshit telcos like Lucent, Nortel, etc. doing anything that worthwhile?

Just another example of corporations socializing their short-term unprofitable activities.

This is why I AT FIRST liked companies like Amazon and Tesla that weren’t worried about quarterly profits because they had bigger, longer term strategies in play. Of course, those ended up being completely terrible strategies and goals, but at the time, I liked them bucking the stupid Wall Street short term bullshit.

No wonder he ran casinos to the ground.

This guy is the antithesis of a leader.

“It was the Pit Bosses problem, not Trumps. And those waitresses, I kept telling them one ice cube per drink. Not 2! Can you believe it? Why does someone need 2 cubes? And then the cleaning people. I was told they expected, what they like to call, a paycheck every 2 weeks. I know a lot of guests left valuables in the rooms, but they were never satisfied with just that. They wanted what I’m calling a salary. That’s a word I just came up with.”
